^ Did you make those bases yourself? I've been wanting to make some bases for myself, but I'm not sure what materials I should use.

 

Yeah, they are super easy and the suppiles are extremely cheap. Maybe I'll do a tutorial soon.

It's basically flower foam (dollar store variety), an exacto knife, some cheap craft paint and model train foliage.

I think I posted them on last years thread, but I'll post again. I made all these using the above materials.




On the other stands, I simply added a bent coat hanger to support the figure. I'm actually surprised how well they turned out.. I'm not really crafty.

 

Wow! Those came out really well. I may have to see what I have leftover from my model railroad days.

Yeah, I'd definitely check out that tutorial. I've been jumping between a plaster or ceramic base. It'd be an experiment since clay shrinks when fired. The base I've been wanting to make are for statues that get pegged in.
