It was always one of my favorite armors on the show for that multi-missile attack thing, and it just looks fat and bad-ass. My Web Nonsense..Buy my stuff in the Junkion Exchange! Its not that I can't afford one or two, its that I can't really afford the 7 or so i'd end up buying if I started. Quote:
I've ordered some non-toy stuff from them and had no problem, althougth the shipping was a bit brutal since they only seem to send by courier. | |

I was at a local comic shop once and they had a bunch of them, every single one was broken inside the packaging or had missing missiles or something, it was ridicules. Anyway I am this close to picking up a Miria, the other ones look good but I really like the red, think it gives it a bit more character. Would pick up the Max but its just out of my price range, unless RW wants to find me a cheap one ![]() Also really eyeing the 1/48 Mass Production. I know some dont like the brown, but I donno I think it looks pretty good. |

I was able to get Rick and Ben for 100$ togethere, and...Roy for $10. Bear in mind these were all MIB when I bought them. Rick definitely needed tighter ratchets, Ben was an IMMENSE improvement in quality. For what they were they were decent, certainly not the best VF-1 toys you could buy but they had more features than the bandai 1/55(althoguh the bandai 1/55 reigns supreme in many of our minds simply because of nostalgia, its gorgeous build quality and tough as anything construction...if any valkyrie were to last generations, the bandai 1/55 would be it, nothing comes close.) Anyways from what I am hearing now the alpha MPC are worse than the VF-1. With the VF-1 MPC as long as you can get one for about under 60$ you shouldn't be too displeased. With Rick its hit or miss, some were assembled with tight ratchets, a lot were not(including mine). Like I said later volumes had way better quality, especially Ben. I like these a LOT better than the yamato 1`/60 VF-1 . Now aesthetically there is no comparison, the 1/60 trumps it, but as a toy that can be played with? Well the MPC wins. Now both do not compare at all to the 1/48 but for the price of the 1/48, well damn near anything shouldn't have to be compared for the price your paying LOL. Its a big investment but your buying the best calibre valkyrie out there. Its great but I only have 1. I have 3 MPC's, 1 1/60, 2 bandai 1/55 reissues, Jetfire, Fire Valkyrie, VF-19A and VF-11B and my sole 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru. If you can handle the investment and remember not to force the backpack past the hinge, you should be fine with the 1/48. Its the best looking of all and 2nd in durability to the 1/55(then again theres not that many toys that can out toughen the 1.55). I only wish it was... a-cheaper b-had ratchets in the shoulder joints instead of balljoints c-had super hard plastic |
