Ah this one.. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-3rd-party-discussion/978698-fansproject-warbot-trianix-alpha-diaclone-dia-battles.html
I remember this guy from when FP relased images of their take on him. I like this a bit better, though.
I'm interested as well, I had the guy on the second step as a kid. Can't remember his name it was a while ago.
I had a King Dam (maybe the KO version?) when I was a kid. I had a lot of fun with it. Too many parts for me to keep up with as a kid though. I will probably pick this one up eventually.
Good bye wallet. No wait, that already died at botcon. I guess its goodbye bank account and partial college fund money.
I'd love to see this and while their at it, reissue originals and throw in vintage Voltes V etc. reissues. ( I know it's a different company but fuck it)
DIE-A-CLOOOOONE! Really, I'm mostly familiar to the brand due to those awesome commercials but it's always cool when an old franchise returns (Maybe they will do the same for Gobots soon). Another thing: Does anyone know if this scales with Masterpieces or Generations figures? Because if it's the latter then this is a must buy for me.
You're both right. According to the Japanese signage, this new line is a collaboration between TakaraTomy and Hobby Project.
I think Hobby Project is part of Takara-Tomy? DIACLONE????????????????????????????????????[TAKARATOMY HOBBY PROJECT]???????
Looks great, but... is alt mode some sort of space ship thing? Diaclone and Machine Robo lines would be nice, if only to see some fresh ideas/engineers try their hands. Plus, the best part of the lines? NO OPTIMUS AND BUMBLEBEE!
Highly unlikely and equally unnecessary. I imagine that the western market that would be interested in this sort of thing overlaps nicely with the same people that are aware of Japanese importers.
I've never been interested in Dia Battles until now. That looks fantastic. I'd love to see what they do with Big Powered and Battle Buffalo
