Screw the variable fighters. Seacat pluuuushies are on the way! :)

Plus it also looks like PLAMAX's Minmay figure is out.

The best part about the seacat plushies is that I can just sneak them into my daughter's extensive plushie collection with no questions asked! :D

OMG episode 23 of Delta was well worth the wait.

Episode 22 had the long awaited :
Hayate and Mirage duel valkyrie hot action! Much better episode and we are finally on the road to the finale.

According to a translated liner sheet from the 2nd volume of the blu-ray set for Delta, Delta was originally slated for 13 episodes and a movie. However, somewhere around the production of episode 4, ratings were really strong and so they decided to make 13 more TV episodes. This could explain why the 2nd half is as wonky as it is. Anyone in the know, knows that well made art takes time and I don't think the staff and their budget were ready for 13 more episodes of straight production. :cry

Does this mean there is still a movie coming after? Is it just parts of the series put together in movie form?

I would imagine a movie could still be a possibility. The only macross show to not get a movie version was Zero.

Anyways, Arcadia VF-1S is coming today! Roy's classic valk is coming back to my house!

Re: Delta - I'm a few episodes behind - is 22 the last or are there more scheduled?

Re: VF-1S - mine shipped yesterday so I think I'll get it after Labor Day. In any case it's probably going to end up a bday present so I'll have to wait until November.

Found this at Midtown Comics in NYC last week on my visit. I'll admit I've never been into Macross mainly because of my lack of knowledge of its existence, but I love the toyline. I was highly tempted to pick this up to be re-purposed as a CHUG Skyfire. At 84.99 it was a bit out of my price range, nonetheless a really cool looking figure!

Haha. You did yourself a favor by not picking up that piece of trash.

Toynomi hasn't had a great reputation for quality toys. I don't own one of those myself so I can't speak on it but I do know the Bandai Hi-Metal R 1/100 line is pretty fantastic for that scale.

Glad I passed then, although even if this had phenomenal QC I still would've passed. Love the Macross toyline but just not enough to pay 80+ for one.

Got the Arcadia VF-1S Roy edition today and he is as fantastic as the old one I bought 8 years ago minus the cracking shoulders and frustrating hip transformation. He's a much brighter white like the Hikaru version I own and like the Hikaru 1S his right foot came off during transformation. Good thing it just pops right back on. This is the pinnacle VF-1 toy to get and if you have the cash go get him.

Nice! Mine is shipping slowly so I'll have to wait a while but looking forward to it. I keep thinking I should have bought at least two but I'll save that money for other Valks...

Say what now? Is this a new or upcoming figure?
It looks like that 3rd Party FansMakeToys figure.

    What's the quality like?

It's upcoming, and licensed. Quality is great. Chogokin toy. This company has nothing to do with any third party TF shit.
