Those photos and measurements are nice, but can you please download some government schematics on the f-15 and superimpose transparent images of the Hastak Seekers and the Zeta alt mode over the schematics, calculating the discrepancies between the three and calculating how much more air resistance the HasTak and Zeta would face than the F15 if they were constructed as currently designed? That’d be great, thanks. 

 

Very surprised the canopy height difference is only a little more than a millimeter---it looks like so much more. Maybe the much shorter nosecone exaggerates the difference? Gives kind of a MiG-29UB effect. (The two-seat MiG-29 actually does have a shorter nosecone, due to the cockpit being moved forward to make room for the second seat, the opposite of how most Western planes do it)

I think the fact that the canopy bulges further back also accentuates it. It's probably closer to a 3mm difference if you measure at the same spot but I'm not gonna take them out of the display and transform them again to get another measurement right now.

 

So part one should be available next week according to @Chosen Prime s listing, that's going to be the last straw for me, I'll have to ship that stash!

So I actually "own" a building that happens to have microfiche of top level drawings of every aircraft in the Air Force inventory. Unfortunately the hundreds of thousands of files are shrinkwrapped onto about 20 pallets, so finding the right ones might be a problem...

 

It's been pushed back a few weeks. Hopefully so they can include cartoon faces for him and his predecessor
