I think UT's Brawl looks way better.

I'll still probably get both. The Zeta guys are cheap enough.

In combined mode the Zeta one will probably be more solid and poseable and bigger due to the partsforming hips..Wish UT would do the same

Brawl looks awesome as a stand-alone, shame that Blast-Off and Vortex really do not. I'm tempted to buy Brawl on his own just to mess around with.

If THIS is what "Zeta" toys will be releasing, then I want it. No point in waiting for TW's attempt.

Is this the case? anyone knows that for sure?

It is expected to be this, since this is the design TW showed and then the designers took it and left to form ZetaToys. I'm with you - that combined form is exactly what I'd want for Bruticus, provided the quality and colors are good.

Do you guys ever remember seeing the TW Devy go up on sale at a significant cost reduction? I don't think I'm digging the individual bot designs, but the combined form looks pretty dang good. I'd love to pick this up, but I don't know if it's worth it at full retail.

Hopefully it will be able to show off the movable tank treads! It makes sense that the tank treads were removed from the renders to show the transformation, but it would have been nice if they added them back in. But I'll be happy with the actual test shot to look at this guy. I'm not thrilled with the drama between Zeta and TW, but.. if Zeta can deliver a quality product, I'll still check them out!

Exactly. If they are Constructor V2 quality then I'm sold. I'll still wait on some reviews, need to make sure the quality is there. I wonder if they might do a boxset like TW did with the V2 though. There's something about combiners and box sets, nostalgia, maybe?

Somehow I'm skeptical about the quality of these guys since they won't be made at ToyWorlds factory. Who knows what factory they went to for manufacturing, it could be de same factory that gave us Spin Out for all we know....

Or it could end up with better QC consistency than Toyworld is capable of, lol.

Compared to what those of us who paid for the individual V1 figures the V2 set is already a pretty big discount...

    :lol  Exactly.

It's clear that they have working treads, not to mention TW saying as much early on, but I was just wondering where they got off to. Do they part form? Do they fold away into the bot mode somewhere? It's moot now since Zeta cleared it up. Maybe they wanted to clearly illustrate that the treads were separate, working parts from the road wheels.

Stop complaining and stop trying to change shit because you don't like it. You have options, stop ruining it for others!

What, are you so bored as to go back through the thread and find posts from two months ago to complain about? :p

Thats one great looking alt mode love the details....and nice robot mode. I like this Brawl over the UT Brawl but I know one is toon and the other is I guess a stylized mix.

This whole Zeta Bruticus set has a theme here, all the alt modes are top notch while the robot modes are decent. You can tell the combine mode and alt modes were higher priority to there designs.
