Blast off looks like ass. So far I'm happy I don't like it. Assuming they go this route

 

Yeah I am NOT a fan of th studio-ox styling for these guys. Vortex looks pretty terrible also. Hopefully they'll go the Sunbow route, and if not, I'm happy with just one MP combiner in my collection.

 

Is it possible for a black and white drawing to be mis-transformed? lol? Yes, I'm still looking at you Blast off.

 

I love the partsforming and that it keeps all modes looking awesome. I hope they do Bruticus and Superion, followed by Menasor and Defensor, all in the Devastator scale.

Transformission have done that with their set. So if TW ever Does the stunts I see no reason they couldn't as well.

The only real "hurdle" people need to accept with mp scaled combiners is the heavy partsforming. If you want them to be monstrous 20 inch towering giants its the only way to reach that goal.

So I wouldn't be surprised if TW's Onslaught transforms very similarly to Warbos where the lower section of his alt mode isn't used for his bot mode but is then utilized for the combiner hips/thighs. I really loved how warbo did that and would like to see the same design idea again.

Other than that for the love of god please no transparent plastic guns/rotors and and random non-sensical colors. I would love to finally see my favorite combaticon; Brawl done properly at long last, red faceplate, cannon on the back without partsforming etc.

 

Transformission scaled their Motormaster with MP-10, not Magnus.

 

Looks like I'll be keeping my Warbo Brut around for a while longer.

 

I agree though the design of Warbotron Bruticus was superb, it's the size that bothers me. It is supposed to be MP-Scale but each individual Alt-Mode is only CHUG-sized.

I hope this Toyworld version is as big as their Devy.

 

I cannot decide between Toyworld Constructor and UW Devastator as my MP Dev, or skipping both and just waiting for another company to tackle Devvy.

Nonetheless I'm interested in seeing TW's Bruticus.

 

TW is good enough for MP.

CW is only CHUG-sized IMHO.

(Nevermind, I just watched the episode where Bruticus was introduced, and saw he had the red faceplate. Weird)

 

Combined, standing off on his own with a few add-ons, UW Devy probably looks more like the Devy you remember beating on poor Sludge.

In hand, side-by-side, ToyWorld's uncombined Constructicons make the UW guys look like Happy Meal toys. Combined mode is solid, articulate, and has a presence that makes him really impressive, but the OX style probably isn't what you're familiar with.

There's Generation Toys' Gravity Builder you can look at. A lot of people seem to like him. From what I've seen I dig their Long Haul (even though he hasn't actually been released yet), and I think the combined mode looks better than Constructor. He's smaller, though, a little smaller than UW Devy even, and the five bots that aren't Long Haul range from "I guess that's ok, but I kinda like TW's better" to "That's supposed to be Bonecrusher?!"

 

As good and accurate as fanstoys products are, i dont believe their designer can pull of a decent Combiner, anyway more options more fun

Magnus is scaled exactly to MP10 he literally uses MP10's cab mold. Whatyoutalkinbout.  

Is this a height thing then? cause a magnus sized torso bot would be ludicrous, why would onslaught need to be that tall when they could easily make him optimus sized which is much closer to what he was in the toon.

 

Transformission scaled their Motormaster with MP-10 in both modes, Magnus is scaled in alt mode only.

Onslaught done the same way as Warbo but scaled to mp10 in both modes would allow a decent size, with a trailer forming hips.
Warbo brute is by no means perfect but that was a clever design choice.

 

I never noticed Blast Off, was totally focused on Bruticus! Would be pretty cool if they gave the option for gun hands
