Awesome! btw I would keep UT Swindle since when doing the full Zeta combaticon group, Swindle will look great as being the smaller one and more accurate vehicle mode :)  considering doing that myself since that would be 1 extra Combaticon with Blastoff and Vortex for now :)

Can anyone tell me how the hands are on gravity builder since I'm sure they will be the same. They look pretty good. Do the bed at wrist or just finger?

I think you meant Toyworld's Contructor... Gravity Builder is from Generation Toys.

Box behind shows all the bits on.

Constructor has really good hands. They bend at every joint but also splay at the knuckle. The wrist also bends 90 degrees. If you have Pheonix it's very similar just on a larger scale.

That looks really good. I would love if Zeta made simplified hands for Constructor without all the details like their Bruticus

One more from me as the cat's out of the bag on Facebook.

Plan is to design bridging adapters so the UT legs attach to Zeta Onslaught. Much prefer jeep Swindle. I just can't start until we know how the connector is. I just wish Onslaught was next!

That looks way better TigerBlade. So that extra kibble on Take Off's legs and arms, are they attached by a tab? Can you take them off just like how The Chosen Prime took off the Aerialbots' kibble on their legs in the production review video they posted?

No it needs unscrewing. For Vortex it can be thrown in the box and forgotten about if you prefer the slimmer look. For Blast Off he needs his wings for alt mode so when I do the leg connection convertor I'm gonna look into a peg system so you can put the wings back on when needed.

Fwiw I haven't taken anything off their arms although I was messing around with Vortex's arm kibble earlier:

Not sure about it even if it makes him more like the g1 toy but tbh as soon as Onslaught arrives he'll be forever in arm mode anyway.

His arms look much better that way! But for me, his upper body and forearms look too big for his thinner legs so I'm going to leave the side-attachments on when I get mine. lol

These guys are bigger and cheaper (up to $40) than the majority of comparable offerings.
Sure looks like a savings passed on to me.

I have seen instances where things were installed wrong (or broken) from the factory and thought "man, if only they let me put that together I would've taken the necessary care to get it right."

My Vortex/Blackout is waiting on someone else to come in before shipping.

    He does look good de-kibbled.

Yep, I like that too. He looks far more proportionate with the kibble removed and I even like the panels positioned how you put them.

    Again, nice work good sir.

Sigh. I never said there were no savings passed on. I just said in that one instance, I doubt the savings were passed on, or at the very least that it'd be so negligible to the customer that it literally makes no difference. Do you really think not putting some pins and screws in some toys saved $5 or $10 or more for the people buying these? I highly doubt it.

And look, to the average consumer, they don't want to have to assemble things.
If they packaged it well (you could put foam inserts between the body and the rotor blades, for example), there shouldn't be a problem with it getting damaged in shipping, and if you're worried about things being installed wrong or broken during assembly, you may as well ask for the whole figure as a bloody model kit.
The factory should be competent enough to not fail that badly, but now and then, a lemon slips out.
Are you really suggesting that the rotor pieces are any more prone to misassembles than the rest of the figure? Sure, they're more fragile overall, but that ultimately shouldn't make a difference in factory assembly unless the people doing the job are incompetent goons (which they shouldn't be).

All I see is excuses for something that should be standard: all the parts assembled at the factory. If you like it as-is, that's fine, but defending it is just silly.

Toyworld. This set and their Superion were originally under ToyWorlds company label but when the designers left they took their future combiner work with them so all TW's sets are now Zeta sets.
