Im in the water temple...i love this game! How is the final battle? As good as WW? I dont care about spoilers ....its Zelda!
Best boss battle to date...lots of homage in the battles and Midna proves herself more than any past ally. Though, I have to say the final boss character is fairly one sided. He's there because he's supposed to be, though he could use a bit more story and character to him. I have to say gameplay wise, it's really great and I have to say this serves well as a good final chapter to Zelda. Since, it was reported a while back, this would be the last conventional game and big changes were coming.
It was a hell of a fight and worth the price of admission. And if what was said about conventional game is true then great Zelda needs a good kick right now IMO
Wait, I'm currently playing as the wolf, in the area where the spring has dried up, near Hyrule, Am I close to finishing the game already?
If you haven't gotten the Master Sword, and if you are not 40-60 hours into the game. You are not near the end, unless you are really really slow.
My second run-through is every bit as fun as the first one was... I just got into th sky temple after 21.43 hours of game log, and I've gotten everything outside of dungeons except for 2 heartpieces and the cave of ordeals. The two pieces are the snowboard race one and the one that you need the double-claw shot to get. Oh yeah, and the largest quiver, but I gotta finish this dungeon first anyway for that too.
My fiancee just started playing it today. I'm navigating for her. I swear, that Midna character sounds like she's speaking Vietnamese.
I don't thinks she's speaking anything though... midna is freakin' awesome. and of course, in the end you find out she's a hottie
Yeah, Midnas true form is really hot, but the Tear-thing at the end wasn't so good(everyone that finished the game will know this). I got my TP one day before the official start here in Germany, and i'm not missing a single Cent from what i payed. But i have to admit, that most of the Bosses have died too fast, they could really use 2x or 3x Health. But in the end, it was really great battling through this game, exploring the huge world. By the Way, did someone get the Special fish, that the Girl at the fishing-Pond was looking for, from the boat? I would really like to know, what i can get when she see it. BTW, i already got one by fishing from Land, with the earring.
I for one would like to say that I always thought Midna was kinda cute, but she's not cute at the end, and she's not really hot, at least compared to Zelda, so I was a little disappointed at that. But man, I bet she enjoyed her time riding Link! When you dash as the wolf, you hear Midna, you know she likes it. Oh, and BTW, in the almost last battle, Zelda can't shoot worth crap!
Err, no, it is not needed! I haven't looked into the manual for a long time. but u can, if u want. And if u wait at the Beginning Intro(Press Start/A+B - Screen after switching it on), you will see the Trailer#2.
I've not been able to chance it And I know I have good reflexes, but it usually makes me jump instead of chance. pretty aggravating.
Good game, I just beat it today. They did some different things with the story this time... and the imagery. Like Zant at the end when whose-his-face was beat...? What was up with that? Kinda different, and random... creepy. Still, seeing all these fresh characters and remodels makes me think of what things are in store for Smash Bros Brawl. Omg.... And yeah, the tear thing sucked. It interesting that they downlplayed Zelda, and kinda Link in the whole game when compared to Midna. In cut scenes and story they gave her a lot more screen time and emotion....
The final battle is something I've dreamed about since the days of OoT. It's everything I could have hoped for. Nah, I feel she's pretty decent, at least from when I played. Now the Zelda from Wind Waker, oof!
