How much do you think a Blue Eyes Shining would go for? lol. A card that'll probably wear is going for more than we paid for one of our cars

    Edit: dammit, only around $5

Is that about as expensive as they get? I would think the damn thing would be graded and slabbed in something. At $2,500 I don't want big mans' corrosive fingerprints all over it.

Holy mother of pearl, I just checked it and it's at $4,000 with about 8 hours to go.

And I would so use that guy's picture as my next avatar if there weren't legal issues involved...

Anybody who burns 4000 bucks on a four inch square of cardboard should have his ass beat, then have his wealth distributed to the poor.

And does that fat bastard smear his face with Crisco every morning, or what?

Many would say the same about our hobby, dude. just because we don't understand it doesnt mean its not actually worth that much. you show an average person a case-fresh G1 prime, and they'll probably tell you it's worth maybe 20 bucks at best.

It's up to about $7000 odds now. How anyone can drop that kind of cash on a hobby item is beyond me, especially when that hobby item is a little rectangle of card.

Bidder #11 really wants it and has the feedback to follow through on purchase. The current high bidder, #7, looks like a deadbeat, less than 10 feedback and has had a total of 9 bid retractions in past month. Feel sorry for #11, #7 is just driving the price up with, IMO, no intention of paying.
