So, creature features. What are the top 5 you've seen?
By creature, I mean 'animal' (real or mythical). Like cats, spiders, dinosaurs, dragons, etc. Not really things like the Predator, the Fly or Pumpkinhead.
    Have at it.

    My five:

    Tremors
    JAWS
    The Birds
    Gremlins
    Reign Of Fire

    So. A Godzilla fan? :D

Aliens and Silent Hill. True, they are Creature Features and SH is also one of my favourite horror films.

Starship Troopers is great, one of my faves, but its #7 in your top 5. :lol

Thats a first. Nemo and Bear? Creature features? Well, thats cool, I did say 'animal' and not 'animal trying to kill and eat everyone'. :lol

I never got around to seeing 'The Ruins'. Maybe I will. Also, 'Shark Attack 3' has intrigued me for some time now, ratings and rants vary from 'excellent' to 'bad'. I'll have to check it out for myself.
As for 'Boggy Creek 2', I made the mistake of watching an old VHS of it. Not that great IMO, but each to his own. I did like it when 'Mystery Science Theatre 3000' did it, though. :thumb

'FROGS'!? I'm looking that one up. Are we talking something in the region of 'Killer Tomatoes' or is this just a really bad 'serious' film?

    Giant Creatures:
    King Kong (original)

Dishonorable Mention:Night of the Lepus, one of the all time great bad movies

    The Thing
    Aliens
    Alien
    Pitch Black
    The Blob
Honorable Mention: Little Shop of Horrors - do singing plants count as creatures?

ok, i ran amuck with my 5...lol.

i didn't want to nitpick about Brother Bear, either. was just sideswiped by it, though.

there are some movies i like, but can't think of em as creature features. like these 2:

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea- a giant squid scene.
The Stuff- killer yogurt isn't a creature, right? tofu, maybe....

Killer Yoghurt? Hmmm, I think thats tough, it would have to be sentient I suppose. Same with the Little Shop Of Horrors plant someone mentioned.
I guess they count. After all, I always thought of the LSOH plant as more of an animal/alien that looks like a plant, not the other way around.
