In a roughly chronological order (of when I played them), my 10 would be Super Mario Bros 3 DOOM Dark Forces Super Metroid Half-Life Deus Ex Max Payne 2 LEGO Star Wars Bioshock Fallout 3 I rate all these on fun factor, replayablilty and for the older ones, major nostalgia Oh yeah, nearly forgot, the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games get honorable mentions for being the best party games.
I gotta say Suikoden 1 is the best of the series. It just felt more... genuine, and had a better cast. The soundtrack, besides part 2's couple intro tracks, was superior by far in part one in my opinion.
In no particular order. 1.Super Mario World.I got it for christmas when I was a kid bundled with my Super Nintindo and stayed up all night playing it. 2.Toe Jam and Earl.OMG,a freakin classic! 3.Shadow of the Colossus.One word,EPIC! 4.Kindom Hearts 2.This game franchise surprised the hell outta me. 5.The Elder Scrolls 4-Oblivion.I still play this game years later and find it beautiful. 6.Fallout 3.Like Oblivion but in the future.And thats a good thing. 7.God of War.This game makes you feel invincible.I wanted to go out and fight a bear or something after playing it. 8.Harvest Moon-It's a Wonderful Life...What?...It's fun dammit! 9.Beyond Good and Evil.It's getting a sequel!!! 10.Half Life 2.Gordan Freeman makes me proud to be a nerd.
