I love the movie style. I want it to die, mostly because I have no more space for them, but before it dies, I must acquire both Soundwaves, G1 retool of Que/Wheeljack, and in the name of Primus, I really wanna see a Mirage figure, and hopefully a Crankcase.

Then the line can die.

 

At this point, meh. They've dragged their heels on this stuff for so long now, I honestly don't care anymore. Just bring on the Prime mainline crap already (mass retail)...and whatever molds from the First Edition line they can squeeze in. Something on the shelves other than the by now boring DOTM packaging. I might still not buy anything, but it's nice to see something new in the toy isles. Not like my local Zellers even has any idea what 'new' is...

considering the movie design is about the only one i love to death, and i've already put lots of money into it, i'm pretty pissed. maybe i wouldn't be so angry about leadfoot if i hadn't already gotten topspin and roadbuster.

Shit, now I won't even be as excited for new live action films... why would I want TF4 toys when I never got my TF3 toys... and now we know... with every movie they promise figures we never see.

The point of these movies is to sell toys... based on the designs in the movies..... b/c people will want them more......... your dumb Hasbro.

So am I. I really needed Soundwave, Wheeljack, and Leadfoot for a stop-motion movie project I've been planning for a few months. They're already expensive to get from Asia, and this news will just increase the prices.

The real reason it pisses me off, though, is the frequency with which this is happening in the last one or two years. It seems like a quarter of the stuff they promise us gets cancelled. Those 40 Generations figures they said we'd get in 2013? I'm fully expecting at least some of them to never get released here.

Made my opinions known in my own thread. I personally was going to be buying lots of Prime figures...I won't be buying a single one, and I will be e-mailing Hasbro quite a bit until an actual person responds, and not a form letter (maybe I will e-mail them every time I see a Prime figure and pass on it...depends on how bitter I plan to be).

 

Same here. It's a good time to quit collecting TF's anywho. Lots of cool stuff coming out elsewhere, and I gotta save up for Batman junk this summer.
