What is your opinion on the Transformers: Prime main-line (RID).

For me i enjoy it alot so far! Its the first toy-line i enjoy seeing on selves since animated and movie 07 toys. Anyways i enjoyed the toyline because its part of a TF show that i like and has the chracters i want. the animated line was ok and i enjoyed the TF1 movie toys. But when we had RotF toys i was sick of the desgins and non-show/movie characters on shelves. (Note i love the Bay movies and the desgins but after a while those toys are annoying to see) So anyways from what i have this line a great so far! The designs look acuaute to the show and aren't to complicated. My only problem are the powerizer weapens.

Most are decent, some suck completely, and some are fantastic.

It's getting good, especially now that we're getting characters who weren't in the First Edition line.

I say good toyline, bordering on great. I've enjoyed most of the toys quite a bit. Some are exceptional. Few are terrible (frankly only RiD BB has been terrible so far, though it appears Airrachnid may be headed that way based on reviews). I would vote great if not for the clear plastic arms on the voyagers and the godawful weapons.

I think it's a great toyline with a few bad figures.

Worst in a long time. Even the strongest figures are just alright.

I don't understand why you guys are so anti Prid. These figures are easier to transform than the first editions and it will be the ongoing line for the rest of this year and maybe next year.

Agreed. Not going to get into the debate about plastic quality or lack of, but I'm just not happy with the standard or size of the figures these days in general, much less the Prime line.

    Great toyline so far. :thumb

It has it's duds yes but it does produce some fantastic and strong figures like the Vehicon,Wheeljack,Arcee,Ratchet, and Soundwave too. :)

Can't wait for the other toys to be released this year!

I think it's pretty great minus a few exceptions (Bumblebee, Airrachnid, the Optimus base). Overall I'm glad I got into the Prime line. I have almost everything from it so far. It's the only other line I've cared to collect that isn't G1 or G1 based. My biggest issue is the lack of quality but the innovative transformation and modes kind of make up for it.

The TFP line has several great figures, I find Soundwave, Vehicon, and Wheeljack as toy of the line figures. They are great, some other figures are good, and others are just meh.

Now the new Airachnid figure, they had got to been drunk when they designed that figure.

Vehicon is definitely the best achievement of the PRID line. Hasbro would be crazy to push all the good Prime toys into the First Edition line.

It's good. The only toy so far that has in any way disappointed me is Soundwave, who's a bit overrated. Even Cliffjumper is pretty awesome, IMO.

I give a great. Prime is actually my first experience collecting Transformers. There are some duds, Bee isn't that great, KO is good except for his chest and awful paintjob, and from pictures Airchnid looks pretty bad. But there are a lot more that I like/love than dislike. Besides the ones that have already been mentioned I am a big fan of voyager Starscream and Cliffjumper too. Most people don't mention Cliff, but it looks like at least two of us like him.

It's a decent line, and most of it's duds are mainly due to FE existing. It has the infamous shelfwarming Bumblebee, but it also has the fantastic but horribly shortpacked Vehicon.

Oh, and I'm one of the few who think Airachnid is an okay toy, so I'm not counting her as a dud. :p

It just doesn't seem as interesting to me as the show does. I see good figures and bad figures but nothing that feels like a great deal I need to go get right now. I look at weaponizer Prime and I don't see why I should hold it to a higher standard than Ultimate Optimus.

Cyberverse on the other hand is so good that I feel better figures could be coming at the larger sizes as well.

I like it. Only a few are bad. The rest vary from good to great.
Optimus isn't even that bad and I look forward to buying the Nemesis Prime version of the mold as I have First Edition.

Although some of these toys make me so damn happy to have their First Edition counterparts. And no, Bulkhead is not included in that list.

Wheeljack is decent but nothing else really grabs me. It's got many of the same weird proportional problems as the movie lines. Also distribution is really not helping me get a good look at anything besides Bumblebee.

I love it too while recognize that there is a dud or two in the mix.
