So basically, has it gotten to where we've gotten to know the people working at our local depots/who deliver our shit, even just to the point of them recognizing us after going there so much to send & pick up stuff? Similarly, has anyone been questioned about why we're there as often as we are, be it formally or informally?

For example, I don't do a whole lot of this stuff (at least compared to others on here), but one time I pretty much got into a conversation with the lady there about how a bunch of my friends and I trade yugioh cards online with people we know from our forum, and how it's good way to avoid having to buy stuff online or limit our interactions/trades to when we go to the big cities.

I don't go to the post office when I mail things, I give packages directly to my carrier. And he knows me by name now. Whenever I stop at my apt's mailboxes and he's delivering, he immediately grabs me my mail and we exchange some small talk. He's very careful with my stuff too, which is something I really appreciate.

I don't mail anything I can't stick in my mail box and turn the flag up. What irritates me about my mail carriers is that they look in my packages and there's nothing I can do to get them to stop. My packages always come torn open now. Pisses me off.

Isn't it illegal to go through someone's mail?

I thought so too, and that even applied to me when I was sorting & delivering. Maybe there's a loophole around it like a license some facilities/people have other than customs, though?

... either way, I guess it's about time someone discovered a formula for transparent cardboard. :)

^I suppose so, but that doesn't stop these guys. It's always just enough so they can peek in. Bring it up and they claim that happened during shipping. EVERY TIME?!

My mail carrier is awesome, when its the regular guy.(Other ones are hit and miss)

Very nice dude and I have never had anything go out or come in smashed up so a bonus there.

Post Office I usually use is good as well :)  Just busy at times.

No, I don't go to the post office frequently enough to talk up a conversation with anyone in there.

Well, I only did that once, but the ladies there usually recognise me when I do. I guess it doesn't make a difference in the long run, but I'd rather go there than a random place, especially because its in London Drugs which means that its not only quite close to my house, but I also get to walk by toy isles on my way in & out.

I am more active on my Asian ball jointed doll bored Den of angels then here really so I mail doll parts doll clothing, wigs, eyes ect. My post office calls me the doll lady, they almost fell over the 1st time I sold a My little pony or a TF. I moved and I have 2 carries that work during the week both find it funny what I get in the mail but its in a nice way. The one I used to have at my old house was so nice she used to try and wait a few extra mins if I had a big package come in so I would not have to go to the main post office all the way in town.
