Well, when you have somthing going on like BF2 you're going to be choosing kits for various situations. In my BF2 clan my role is AT, cuz I somehow got really good with the SRAW, but I still love to have assault rifles, even though the AT kit only provides SMGs, which isnt a bad transition but a much shorter range role. What weapon do you think you're attracted to 1st?

If the FPS gave you the choice, what would you naturally go with first, a sniper rifle, a rocket launcher, a shotgun, or and a assault rifle, etc.... I'll go with the assault rifle as 1st pick. You just may branch off into the other weapons due to the situation.

 

M4A1 Colt Carbine, best gun in the world. I love to pick people off from far distances, while still packing a close range punch.

 

As of now and has always been is that I like an automatic anything. More specifically SMG's in Rainbow Six Vegas. I have been tearing it up with the MP-7, I'm ranked like 1200 something right now and my kill to death ratio is constantly getting better. Oh how do I love that game.

 

Wish the M4A1 and M16A2 (or A3) where avilable in R6:Vegas. I'd love to have a long rifle with 3 round bursts. 556 Commando doesnt cut it.

 

In FPS games, I mostly end up using shotguns.

In shoot-em-ups and 2D platforming shooters (Raiden 2, Gunstar (Super) Heroes, Contra series), I go for seeking weapons where possible. Where those aren't available, I'll take powerful laser weapons over weak spread weapons.

In RPGs, I favor short swords. Nice balance of power and speed.

I just keep saying guns because I just do that. I play FPS' most. If we had to change the theme around, it'd be spears for me.

Spears are used in a similar role as assault rifles. Both are issued to the standard trooper, both work from short to medium range. Cavalry use spears and avalry focus on flanking tactics, etc...

 

sniper rifle. I'm a sneaky sunuvabitch.

 

Sniper rifle. Hide, kill in one shot, get out.

Gunwise-Assault rifle, especially with a grenade launcher attached.

I don't often play FPSs, but when I do, I tend to stick to a shotgun.

I also seem to have an issue with melee attacks. Mainly, I don't really use them. Thing is, I shoot pretty much subconsously, whereas to melee attack, I have to go and think "You know, I should really try a melee attack". By the time I do that, it's usually too late...



To be honest, though, I usually stick to killing with vehicles.......

 

I gotta go with some sort of submachine gun, nothing like getting close in and circle strafe-circle strafe-circle strafe   .

 

A pistol. Nothing sweeter than rushing a person and then pulling off a pistol headshot. Granted, it doesn't work as often as I would like, but it's still my favorite.

 

Sniper = PSG1

Assault = FAMAS or AK

 

Back when I was a CounterStrike addict, I just grabbed the MP5 all the time. Quick burst submachine guns for a fast, irritating direct attack are my favs. Rack in a few kills at the beginning of the round, play point for a bit, maybe get killed, maybe not. Either way, I've got some frags to smile about.

 

A good damn flamethrower. But since they aren't in many games, i'm an assault rifle man. Never really cared for shotguns.

 

Chainsaws, machine guns , rocket launchers and most importantly BIG ASS SWORDS.

 

Depends a lot on the game.

I suppose a good power handgun.
