Dragonball GT final bout US for PS1. I spent 2 years trying to find the title, and during my first day working for then babbages (gamestop now) some asian kid sold it to me for 5 bucks. I played the hell out of that game and i'll tell you it was terrible!

then i sold it at Dragonball's popularity height for 200 bucks....i still regret selling it to this day...

With my own money, working a shitty, hot as hell summer job cleaning and waxing school buses, i bought an AMIGA 500 from an army dude that was shipping out overseas.
i got 4 shoeboxes of floppies with games, apps and extra blanks.
as a bonus, i got a stack of .Info magazines.
used to drool at the graphics they said the amiga could handle.
i just liked that it was easy to hook up to either an RGB or a TV.
    which made it portable.

I never beat The Killing Game Show, but i liked it anyway.

If we're including systems, definitely the SNES.

If it's just games/peripherals... I'll say the original Red Alert. It was the first game I ever played online (and I played it a lot, and actually paid close attention to my rank and everything on the leaderboards, which I gradually stopped caring about in future online games), my introduction to RTS's (a genre which I still love), and my re-introduction to PC gaming after about a decade of almost strictly console gaming.

I didn't get into Dune II until a year or two after C&C and Red Alert, when someone recommended I "see where it all began". It was rather kick-ass, too.

Pokemon Gold. And being the coolest kid in school for about 6-8 months because family visiting America got it for me when it has just come out in the US.

Or Sonic the Hedgehog 2, still my favourite game ever.

What I like about threads like this is that sometimes they remind me of games I forgot or haven't played in a long time, and then I go looking for them. I forgot I had the PS2 copy of MGS1. Neep to pop that in and play it again.

Well, when they came out with the MGS anthology here, they released part one, but now that you asked, I remembered that it's actually a PS1 disc, but it's packaged in a PS2 case. It's part of a collection of MGS1-3.

I dont even really play anymore and this is still too tough to pick just one. Uhmmmmmmm.......

Damn, I'll just pick the first thing that came to mind..

Spiderman on Dreamcast. Great game that I still occasionally play to this day.

I wish to the gods of square that they would give FF6 the same treatment they gave FF3 on the DS. I want to see LOCKE, Celes, Sabin, Edgar, Shadow, Terra, and crew in ThreeDee

I'm not really sure if this is completely accurate, but I seem to remember renting a full N64 system and Mario 64 before the system was actually released. This would have been from Blockbuster Video... not sure if anyone remembers that.
The first time I had that controller in my hands... Wow. Mario 64 was quite a treat, and I don't think anything on N64 came quite as close to its glory (except for Zelda..).

While I will take what I get, FF6 really deserves a full update, not a DS update. 360 or PS3 PLEASE! That would become my greatest purchase. FF6was probably the game in my lifetime I will put the most amount of time into.
