A new year arrived and is passing as we speak. What are your collecting goals for 2011? For me, I am working towards finishing my personal collection so then I can sell of the rest of everything I own (apart from a few special exceptions) How about you?
Sad to say, my collection goal is actually to reduce my expenditure...I'm cutting down on TFs, SW, MU etc. However in the spirit of this thread my goals are: 1. To collect only the G1 theme TF Henkei or whatever they are called now - United? 2. MOTU Classic characters that only appeared in the TV shows 3. S.H. Figuarts "old school" riders and...if I have spare cash, I've pick up some of the web exclusive stuff!
Mine is to do well at school so my parents will let me go back to Hong Kong at the end of this year, where i will hopefully be able to finish off my Figma Nanoha collection (which, ironically, ends with Nanoha herself). Also Figma-wise, i hope to get Saber (not Alter'd nor Extra, just the normal one), and also get BRS. Other than that, i hope to cut down on expenditure so that i can afford to test print more Upgrade Kits i've designed. Along with that is trying to add figures to my collection completely of my own design, that is, totally from scratch. Oh, and geta Mach Ptera. Damn you Roan.
I was asleep due to time zones when the thing ended, and was hyped up on Coca-cola the night before, so my initial plan of bidding just before bed kinda didn't work out as planned... Why is it your fault? Because you get to live in the UK and i have to be stuck in this little hellhole. Soon as i can get out of here, i am soooooo hoping to be able to move to Europe. So you basically have everything i want, and therefore all my hatred is directed at you. Get it? Good. Also, THERE'S A FIGMA SABER LILY???!!! SO WANT...
Saber Lily was only available in the Ps2 SP box of Fate Unlimited Codes. figma ƒZƒCƒo[EƒŠƒŠƒB Theres more stuff I'd want from the States than in the UK. UK Ebay hardly gets anything cool . Was just lucky the guy was in the UK.
My Biggest focus is on Transformers Generation/Reveal The Shield/United More Figmas, like seeing Michael Jackson or more of the older Figures. A focused selection on S.H. Figuarts Showa & Heisei Kamen Riders & Anime figures. Wanting to see more Doctor Who Classics figures like more Companions.

No idea. I'm not sure if I want 'all' of them or just all of the ones I like. Right now I'm trying to get Guard Diver (I already have Fire Diver...) and of course I have to get GGG and Goldion. Maybe Mic Sounders. Not sure about God Max and Ultra Raker. Or even DX Great Exkaiser... So many!!
Transformers To collect 3rd party items only after getting the following, United or RTS Grapple United Wheeljack United Scourge United Lugnut United Warpath Masterpiece Rodimus Prime Should be easy enough as none of the DOTM lines will intrest me and neither will toys from Prime if they're made. Doctor Who Continue to collect the vast majority of the Classic line. Mattel WWE Legends Continue to get a select few from each series.
Last 2 years was a doozy in terms of keeping up with current stuff i.e. Animated n post classic stuff. Looking fwd to a movie year so i can go back to focusing on g1.
Havent bought a TF in at least 2 years... Bought the 'Battle in Space' pack yesterday and quickly returned it. Rodimus had the worst paint apps ive ever seen. colors were running all over the place. Looked like someone painted that thing blindfolded. Hopefully Ill find another one with decent paint.

I've been on a diet since January 1st and am still continuing on it. I've cut out all pops completely. I'm hoping I can find a way to get an exercise routine going. By the end of the year, I'm hoping that I'll have lost about 25 lbs or so. As far as toys go, I'm looking to sell 90% of my G.I . Joe collection, not because I don't like Joes (as I really do), but just that my interest isn't in the toys and lack of space for them. I'm struggling as it is with Transformers, let alone any other toy collection. I'm pretty frustrated with my employment situation, but I'm very thankful I have a job. Things could be a LOT worse for me.
This! I've been rounding out other aspects of my collection the last two years and what with some of the stuff we've seen thus far for DOTM, perhaps I'll do some tweaking to my G1 stuff. Been wanting to do this for some time, so I think I'll make that my focus. New stickers, missing parts, fixing loose joints. Also would like to pick up some 3rd party stuff to customize some of my classics. Yeah, it's gonna be a great year!
