Since some of us mentioned this in the Assaulter thread, what 3p purchase got you hooked?

I got started with FP Bruticus add-ons. Could not believe the quality of not-swindle and not-blastoff. Then the FP Insecticons came next. Never knew such goodness existed. Got started collecting in 2009 just after ROTF came out.

Hard to remember. I think it was FP Warbot Defender. 2 or 3 weeks after that I got FP Protector and a month after that I got City Commander.

Technically it would have been long stacks for the 20th Anniversary Prime, bought from Agesthreeandup.com a LONG time ago.

But the one that really got the ball rolling for me was Faith Leader. :)

I originally started with the Unicron.com Beat Machines add on set. (I'm old school)

But I do not blame an item for my new addiction I blame a person. I stumbled up on internet personality Vangelus and watch a review for Defendor and City Commander. He made them look as awesome as they truly were and convinced me to jump in to this new higher priced toy market.

I never looked back since and enjoy 3P more than most official stuff now a days.
My only regret is skipping CJ. I was around at the time but uneasy about ordering online and from unknown 3P groups. If only I knew then what I know now.

TFC Toys Exgraver and Heavy Labor. Though I had been eyeing 3P figures for a loooong time I never had the money to do anything about it. Then I finally got a summer job (had been stuck in the rut of no experience = no job, no job = no experience) and had the money to do something. Bought the first two Hercules figures first, then couldn't wait to get the other 4, which I ordered all together. Now I have FansProject Warcry, Flameblast, Warbot Defender and Steel Core, and Perfect Effect Motobot RC (the pink one).

There are so many others I would love to get my hands on but now that my college classes have started back up I'm left without a job, and thus without an income to throw around.

City Commander. I didnt have a Rodimus when Protector came out.

Vangelus is responsibly for my 3rd Party addiction as well. I told him this when I ran into him at TFcon, to which he apologiezed :D  I told him "No, thank you!" "Well then you're welcome!" Good times.
