Staying in the hotel, so I can live with that. Something nice about having indoor activities when it's pouring like crazy outside.

I check Weather every Sunday for my biking-to-school plans, and while it changes a lot, it seems like the predicitions are correct, just on the wrong days. So unless it changes heavily later, I'll count on thunderstorms at least some time while I'm there.

If anyone is not familiar with New England weather, don't even bother with the forecast. You may as well put all the possible forecasts on sides of a die and throw it every day, as it's rarely ever what they say it's going to be, even the day of the forecast.

We'll see about the thunderstorms, heh. Like you said, the ten-days rarely pan out so nicely as they would probably like them to.

Been going since 1999 (Botcon through 2002, then OTFCC 2003-2004, then BotCon again when 2005 started it back up). Unless I missed it, last year in Lexington was the ONLY time it's actually rained during the convention itself, with all those trips. And that was just a little at the very beginning, on Wednesday/Thursday.

Lexington was really nice during the convention. I walked from my Best Western to McDonald's for dinner and back. It was a nice stroll.

Here's my expression should the weather be rainy:

Me too! I rarely get to see this 'thunderstorm' event that you the rest of the world seem to see so much of...

No rain please. Wife and kids and planning time in the park and zoo.

So, what will your expression be if it's nice and sunny?

Has anyone ever told you that you look like Heath Ledger? At least in that photo, to me. If you don't like Heath then i'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, Especially since we're neighbors. I'm from Wilkes Barre (actually Bear Creek). Edit: Did you live in Dickson city at one time? I had you written down as a fellow pennsylvanian. Sorry about that. I see your from Syracuse NY in your public profile.

I hope the weather is nice for the Wednesday, Woods hole and Whale watching tour. And also that some whales show up.
