I saw the recent release of the e-hobby set, and I don't really want any of those figures except for Scrapheap. So if anyone wants to sell him, please PM me.

However, do you think we will ever get him as a stand alone figure?

Well, I'd think so, didn't Hasbro confirm this when asked about the head variation on the instructions? Anyways, I'd really love for this to happen..

At first, I was hoping for a new head sculpt from a radicon here. But now that I see the paint job, I think we need the whole figure.

If Hasbro decides to go with Classics 4.0/whatever shall succeed Generations, I think it's likley we'll see the mold again.

I'd rather have improved distribution across the board, though. I've not seen anything actually "new" since HftD Highbrow showed up ONCE two months ago in my area.

Yea we might get a Hasbro Scrap Heap after Junkyard the E-hobby is the United version so that is a no. However we might get a United/Henkei Junkyard if the line ever returns.

Since there are 2 alternate heads for the Junkion, I think Hasbro could make a nice bit of scratch with 2 troop builder 2-packs to fill in the "Battle in Space" pricepoint in the future:

--"Scrapheap" vs. Sweep("slight" repaint of Scourge... alter the hue of blue, different paint apps, etc.)
--"Junkyard" vs. Decepticon Air Warrior(purple seeker repaint)

I'll be really surprised if we didn't get a release of him eventually.

Reminded of the days when I used to tell my fellow Collectors to just wait out for Hasbro's Red Alert but nah, they still went ahead & blow loads on the Henkei version.

"Its a Japanese Exclusive & the line is ending so there's no way that Hasbro's gonna make one"

    Yeah, like real. :popcorn

Well, if memory serves, Junkyard (the upcoming Hasbro retool) has a different head to Scrapheap. But I wouldn't be surprised if they do release Scrapheap further down the line, since they've got the head for it.

I think it's certainly possible, but maybe not until after the first alternate head gets its turn. Maybe we'll know more by Botcon?

I'm sure we'll see a Hasbro version of him sooner or later.

I kinda hope he or Junkyard will have a paintjob similar to Takara's Wreck-Gar

I'm hoping with all the money we've given to hasbro, they keep up with the new head mold thing. I look back at classics 1.0 and all I can think about is the zillion repaints of thr prowl mold. Ugh. Those days should be over. A junkion with a different head Please.

    This.

You know I look at that G2 Deadend from Botcon '10 & I pray that we get a "whatever-you-may-call-it" Deadend when the line gets revived at a later stage.

Yeah but... all of the Prowl recolors were molds that had the same head in G1

It was justifiable with the Silverstreak and Smokescreen redecoes though. Plus the Botcon Rapido toy actually got a new head.
