i miss the alphabits wizard. that website and the internet in general are severely lacking in information regarding the alphabits wizard.

Transformers Cereal.

 

I totally agree they have declined in taste and quality. General Mills made my favorites, but they've gone healthier and just don't taste the same. If I had to pick a sweet cereal I like best, it'd probably be Cap'n Crunch, peanut butter version. But cereal just isn't what is was before. Mini Wheats ain't bad though.

 

It's all the kids fault, most of them had to be fat and change the cereal industry  

 

I can only eat Cheerios now. I feel old.

Interestingly, Lucky Charms doesn't taste that much different then I remember.


But seriously, what the FUCK happened to Trix? I cannot remember the last time I saw taht stuff.

 

I know I'm old when I'm listening to the radio, they play a song I recognise from my clubbing days and then they say that it was from '98.

Ha ha, I know what you mean. I'm transported through time to my clubbing days every time I happen upon "Back that Azz up".

Though, recently I've stopped listening to music and instead started tuning into talk radio. Sometimes, I feel dirty afterwards.

 

Oh shit, snap. I do exactly the same thing. I'm driving along and listening to hours and hours of repeat talk about President Elect Obamas inaugeration, then when I get out of the car I wonder why I wasn't just listening to a music station.

 

I love ghostbusters and anyone remember the TMNT cereal damn those are good though what about berry kix not that great

 

I thought the tastes were getting worse because my taste buds were getting old and feeble.

I think I'll just have to mix some curry powder into my cereal now.

 

I still eat kids cereals. The adult stuff is just too bland. The only redeeming quality any of them have is that sugar sludge at the bottom of the bowl of Cheerios.

The only real difference I noticed when they went to the reduced whatever nonsense, is that the crispness isn't the same. Wish I still had a link to that old article where somebody figured out that artificial sweeteners screw with the body's ability to tell how many calories it's taken in.

I eat Reeses Puffs, because I can't get my Boo-Berry anymore. They make that stuff year round, but the stores are convinced that it's a seasonal item. These are the same cowardly store buyers who won't bring in any hot sauce labeled above mild.

 

Kellogg's Corn Flakes still tastes good here in Brazil. Did you guys had one called "Chococrispies" with a stupid brown elephant stamped on the box? Is the best of the bunch IMO.

 

I'll eat anything if it does'nt have raisins in it. I like grapes, but not grandma berries.

Usually go through phases and do the cereal shuffle. Everytime I get something, I end up in the mood for something else.
Usually can't go wrong with Cocoa Crispies or Honeycomb

 

I just wanna know why they got rid of the Cookie Crook and the Cookie Cop?!?!? I mean first they give the Cookie Crook a dog, then remove both the Crook and the Cop and leave the dog. Then they go and remove the dog and put some wolf-fox thing! I mean what does a Wolf-fox thing have to do with Cookie Crisp?!?!?! (Not that the crook and cop were really indicative of anything).

 

I just wish those greedy little bastards would let the rabbit eat some frikn Trix for once. He should beat their asses and take it.
And Cocoa bird needs a bonghit or something.

Tony the Tiger is a dumbass who only knows 2 words. Seems like the Froot Loop bird is the only one with some brains.

 

I dunno, I think Snap Crackle and Pop are more then "just friends" as they say on their blog. But yeah, how come his name is "The Trix Rabbit" and they don't even let him eat the damn cereal? And what's with kids chasing a leprechaun just for cereal? Don't they know they can get gold from his greedy little ass and then turn around and buy all the cereal they want, and a midget to feed it to them?

 

What I miss more, in regards to foods from our childhood, were the TMNT Pudding Pies. They were unbelievable.

I also know that I'm old when they play songs from when I was kid on the oldies station. Like when did GNR become oldies?
