I thought he was going to be silly and irritating. Dare I say it, I'm genuinely fond of his character. I was hoping for a scene after the credits, to see if he and Wheelie were okay.

I think he helped Wheelie become a better bot- I got really annoyed with Wheelie in ROTF, but here, I actually enjoyed him a bit more.

I'm glad Wheelie was actually given something to do this time around. Him and Brains were entertaining together.

Brains is actually my favorite new bot in the movie. I very much prefer Wheelie & Brains over Skids & Mudflap for the humor

Brains and Wheelie were the Twins toned down.

Same voice actors, too, yes? I almost feel like Brains was written in so that they could be the characters that were supposed to be the Twins before the backlash. Unlike the Moron Twins though, these guys were funny. I laughed more than once at them. Especially "Oh, here comes Shockwave" and "We gonna die now."

Just got back from seeing Dark of the Moon. Have to say, I came out very surprised about Wheelie and Brains. In Revenge of the Fallen, I couldn't stand Wheelie. Yet here, I was actually amused by some of the banter between the two lil' bots, cracking a smile and laughing out loud every now and then. Even more so, I found myself shocked and upset at the prospect of their deaths.

On a slightly off-note, this (to me) proves why they should've kept the Twins in. Because of a few simple changes, a toning down here and there, and going on to perform a no-less-than-heroic feat, my view on Wheelie has been completely turned around. If the Twin's role from the novelisation had remained, I'm sure that a lot of other people would've felt the same way about them too.

They were awesome characters. Glad they replaced the dog humping, pot brownie, and devastator scrotum jokes. Great addition.

Brains and Wheelie were the new Skids and Mudflap. I can't decide which ones I prefer, but I really enjoyed Brains' character. It could've failed, considering how similar he is to Wheelie, but they pulled him off well.
