A friend of mine love The Last Starfighter.
I think it has something to do with his name being Alex Logan.

This movie was on the HBO or Cinemax a while back and I caught it again.. so awesome. And I'd love to see a sequel.... not a remake.

That was a great flick. I remember seeing it at my local, small town movie theater back when it was still a movie theater. Good memories.

Loved the movie when I finaly got to see it. My family didn't go to the movies very often so I got my thrills from reading book adaptations of movies. I was not let down by this one.

There's been rumors of a sequel for years. I think there was even a script floating around out there. I don't think it would be any good without the original characters and cast. Grig (Dan O'Herlihy) and Centauri (Robert Preston) have both passed on. Plus you know the Hollywood idiots would ruin it anyway.

Yes, It's best to leave well enough alone. They've already gone to the b movies for material (Prom night-Give me a break).

I had my PVR record it when it was on a few weeks ago so I could watch it later. Then the PVR screwed up, and deleted it on its own before I could watch it. It was weird, I had LST, and a few 1/2 shows on there, but it showed 91% of storage space used. Then all of a sudden LST was gone, and it showed about 10% usage.

This film rocks my socks. My VHS of it has died so I'm hunting up the DVD.
