Not until I get the rest of my FE figures.

I'm considering saying screw it to the Prime line otherwise.

If I like it, then yes.

$15 is dirt cheap compared to other robot toys I've collected, and Transformers can do a lot more than most toys.

    Absolutely yes.

I work too hard for my money to pay inflated TRU prices. These are the same toys that will be everywhere in a few months. I can wait til then and pay $10-$12 at Walmart and Target.

$14.99 is a little higher than I'd like to pay for a line that's going to be everywhere, and no doubt cheaper, in a few weeks/months. I'll probably be patient and just wait, especially for the figures like Cliffjumper, as I can't see him selling out since apparently no one wants the RiD version of the character. The only situation I could see spending $14.99 would be if I see one of the scalper-bait figures like Soundwave or Wheeljack.

Since I have all of the non-J TFP FE's I'm going to be picky about these RID versions. I don't like that there are these new even smaller versions. Arcee it might be cooler for, but Cliffjumper is so money and that second version doesn't look anywhere near as cool to me.

Vehicon, Ratchet and Wheeljack will be picked up when I see them, but the rest? I'll hold off for a sale of some kind.

As was already mentioned... this is TRU we're talking about. Considered by most a 'specialty' toy outlet; therefore, prices are nearly always going to be higher than the big box stores. Expect them to be lower priced once they hit Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

However, let's consider that these are worth the money. You may downright loathe one or two of these, but overall $14.99 (or whatever the variation is in your area) is still relatively cheap... considering. Who just completed Hercules at $100+ per figure? Great toys, but minimal transformations, paint apps, etc. Worth 100+ per? One mans' trash... you know the rest.

I see a Soundwave, I bite. Probably Wheeljack too, though I'd be irked.

I wouldn't buy BB or CJ for five bucks.

Not $15, I'll wait for the main release in March, when Target and Walmart cause the price to normalize.

Especially when, at some point soon, Cyberverse will be as much as what a Deluxe used to be not that long ago.

I simply cannot wrap my mind around how much people are willing to pay for this stuff in other countries. I know the Dollar has decreased in value, but are economies that much better elsewhere than here to where people will pay it?

really hasbro should stick to the $10-11 price point, 12 tops. They really shouldn't sell for much more anywhere really. As much as I want the Prime figures, I'm trying to not spend the extra cash. I felt that the 14 dollar markup was unneeded. I know other countries charge much more, and how I shouldn't be complaning, but really they should keep with the 10,20, and 40 dollar charges just like they used to. I am controlling my self for spending over 12 bucks for figures, altthough I'm wishing I did when I finally found starscream and arcee. I could just go for screamer and go for the others later if they go on clearance.

Deluxes were stuck fast at ten dollars for over a *decade*. You can wail and flail your arms if you want, but with the economy and plastic prices where they are, they were absolutely going to go up in price. This is the world.
