Recently a pic was shown from a TRU of PRIME Deluxe figs hitting US shelves. $14.99.

So who is ready to pay this... or are you gonna be like me and wait till they go down and / or go on sale?

Granted... I might- might consider Wheeljack. I'll have to see more of him, and also see how things are financially in other areas.

Ya I'd gladly pay 14.99 for regular retail price for a deluxe.

None of the ones I've seen so far are worth $9... much less $15.

    Bumblebee? hahaNO
    l'il Cliffjumper? No.
    Ratchet? No.
Soundwave? The only maybe for me, despite being kind of underwhelming.
Wheeljack actually looks like an okay toy, but I have no interest in it.

That Bumblebee should cost $2 or be free if you buy the Happy Meal.

At Christmas, I considered Bumblebee for $13, but I just wasn't impressed enough.

In Canada some stores sell Deluxes for almost $20...

I'll pay it if I really want it.

Not sure I see the fuss when MSRP (last I knew) was $11.99. And TRU doesn't pull the underpricing crap Walmart does, nor do they move the sheer volume Walmart does (and don't have a couple thousand other items in the store to offset the price of a toy).

Don't want to pay it? Wait for other retailers, but I'm not sure I see the reason for fussing over it.

    And people voluntarily pay that?
Must be bigger fans / collectors than me.

    What 'fuss'?
Just see'ing where other people's lines are at.

Yeah, we were already used to paying $14.99 for Deluxes for years. Now we get to pay $2.00 more on figures that keep shrinking and get less paint. The higher prices, smaller figures and overall 'meh' look of most of the RID line so far all combined is exactly why I decided that I'm just gonna skip this series altogether. Which is too bad - I was REALLY looking forward to it.

As far as the non-FE figures go?

I'm a patient man, and Target is closer than TRU. I hate going to TRU and paying their overblown prices. Makes me feel gullible.

The only one I will consider at that price is Wheeljack, otherwise I'm going to wait until they show up at Walmart or Target for a hopefully cheaper price.

Probably just gonna buy Cyberverse until the prices on the others go down.

If I get any Deluxes, I'll be waiting to get them at Target or Walmart for three bucks less. TRU's prices aren't worth getting them a couple weeks earlier.

I'd buy Generations at that price if I had to but I doubt I'd do it for any other line, Prime or otherwise.

I don't really plan on buying any of the Prime figures with the possible exception of Wheeljack. And honestly, I'd probably shell out the $15 to get it since: (1) I like Wheeljack as a character, and (2) the Prime toy looks pretty cool.

I suppose it truly depends on how someone values a figure. Some might see the $15 as being too steep of a price to pay for a deluxe, whereas others might not be deterred. Seeing as how deluxes are already somewhere between $11.99 and $13.99, paying $15 wouldn't really bother me, especially if it's a figure I'm interested in.

    No.

It has to be an Ironhide, or an FE edition for that.
