So, my wife was changing one of our three-week-old daughter's diapers, and once she was finished and Keira was lying there relaxing, I realized she was REALLY interested in something off to the side.

And then I realized what she was staring so intently at and almost squealed with glee.

Yep, that's Classics Bumblebee. And the coolest part is, that's not a posed picture. I picked him up and started wiggling him around, and Keira actually reached up to touch him. Granted, I know it's the bright yellow contrasting with the black that she's interested in, but still, that's definitely MY kid! :)

That freaked me out dude. My wife and I have a 5 month old named KIARA, very close and my little one also loves grabbing my toys.

I have no children, (and never intend to have any) but that is one wonderful picture. Could be being a Transformers Fan be carried in the genes?

lol.. so sweet and innocent. In about a year, you'll be trying to keep all your toys away from her. My 19 month old always wants to go and look at the "bots" as he calls them.

My 2 and 1/2 year old likes daddy's "ransfarmers," but knows that it's hands off unless Daddy gives her one.

    EDIT: Except Twin Twist :)

    Very cute, indeed.

I got a feeling this is a preview of what's to come in my life as well. My wife and I are expecting our first (a girl) in January. Most likely, she'll want to play with "Daddy's toys" as well.

But hey, I'm looking forward to it. :D

You know...I consider myself to be a man's man, in a lot of ways, and cute snuggly things are, officially, lost on me in most cases...but I just picked up classics Bumblebee last night, TF'd him for the first time, and thought "AWWWW, geeeez, he's sooo CUTE!"

A friend of mine has two daughters, a 6 year old and a 2 year old, and they constantly pick on his TF collection. They tend to go for Energon Arcee, Alts, and his BTs...and some have the battle scars to prove it. I don't have any kids, but my nephews are very interested in uncle Frank's toys...they know not to touch...until I hand them one, of course.

    Nice picture!

Congrats to all of you with new borns and to those with one on the way.

I don't have any rug rats yet but I do have two 4 year old nephews (not twins). One of them, the one that spends a lot more time with me, is totally hooked on TFs. He will ask me daily to go into the "robot room". I have trained my nephews well so they know they can go into the room, even without me, but not to touch.

It's good to know that Transformers still have great kid appeal and that its not just fans carrying the line(even though i know our numbers are too small to do so)

    Thanx for the story

    Thanx

As a special present for getting good grades and helping his Grandma (my Mom), I gave my 7 year old nephew a spare Supreme Starscream (Target clearanced at $12) and based upon his reaction you would have thought that he just won the lottery. I've forgotten much of what it was like to be a kid with a new TF, especially one as big and neato as that one. He kept asking me all kinds of questions like "is he the biggest one they ever made?" and "if he were real, how big would he be? as big as a skyscraper?" He marveled over the toy the whole time during the drive back to his parents place, and I answered all of his questions as honestly as I could..."he's almost the biggest..EVER" and "he'd probably be about as big as that telephone pole over there". Good stuff. He seemed a bit disappointed, though, to learn that Starscream is one of the "bad guys". Feeling bad about it, I told him he could be one of the good guys too, like an undercover spy.
