None. A character dying should be impactful. Characters reviving left and right affects life threatening situations in a way that I don't feel tension anymore.

    This!

I get that people like certain characters and want to spend more time with them, but the past is over. I don't want something nostalgic. I want something that advances the current story, characters, and universe.

I am fine with the revival of Megatron and Optimus so far, but other than that everyone who was killed should stay dead, and those two are currently alive anyway.

It's not like bringing back Barricade, Wheelie, and Topspin made for a more compelling film universe and universe. Not that they were 100% confirmed dead, but you get the drift. Barricade I can understand if they made him out to be a survivor from DotM and through AoE, but the film didn't make him out to be that. Furthermore, bringing back a bunch of missing or thought-to-be-deceased characters didn't advance the story of the current characters whatsoever.

If Starscream, Shockwave, Soundwave, Ironhide, Jazz, and others were still around we probably wouldn't have gotten many characters like Lockdown, Crosshairs, Hound, Drift, etc. If anything, more Transformers fiction should try to do without the pre-1986 cast and status quo.

    I vote for that.

Or else Ratchet for the Autobots. (Sideswipe is alive until proven otherwise. My headcanon is he left to look for Sunstreaker)
For Decepticons, Soundwave. (Preferably with all his mini-cons)

Actually, can we just get a reboot where they don't kill off all the good characters.
