    superalloy: Powerglide and Wheelie

These appear to be Jizaitoy's semi-official designs for Powerglide and Wheelie. Either Jizaitoys has entered the unlicensed 3rd party game, or we're witnessing more 3rd party cannibalism.

These could also be entirely new figures.

They should be fully assembled, and the poster apparently says pre-orders will be up in July for release sometime this year.

    Wheelie and Powerglide

I am sure they will be coming soon. Seems like their size will be bigger than the previous resin ones. They will be made from ABS plastic+metal. The Wheelie will have rubber tyres. The joins and details will be changed a lot. Most of the joins will be ball joins. Lots of details are refer to classic toys.Wheelie's body are all metal. This is just a test product.

Any idea how tall these will be? Or at least, how tall Jizaitoy's original Wheelie is?

It looks like they are maybe going to mass release the figures they've already done? The two toys have been around for quite awhile, and from what I understand were released as model kits where assembly was needed. Did Jizai release these initially with a license? (edit: found a link that said they did).

I saw the Jizaitoys Cyclonus at Botcon. They wanted $200 for it.

EDIT: Interesting that a 3rd party toy that had an official one day license appears to now being KO'd. Not really a surprise though. This has definitely grabbed my interest as I have always loved the look of these. I hope they intend to do the Cyclonus one too. So far that is the only one I've come really close to pulling the trigger on.

Are two the things: Jizay sold the design to this company... or this company stole it :D

3rd party overload! So in 2011 we will have Maketoys, DOTM, iGear and now this Powerglide. I think we need 6 more.

And another Powerglide has been tossed into the ring.

I like FP's and waiting to see if iGear upsizes their minibots from legends to scout.

These look nice but I will make a final decision when I see QC, size and price.

P.S. I notice my name was stolen

Now I know how Takara and Hasbro feel lol

I'm actually quite flattered and I will be willing to bet any monies that my name inspired theirs. I'm the only Transbot out there.

I still love my 3rd party groups lol

Powerglide is a pass. I already have the decent Cyberverse as a stand-in for Classics and I'm going to get the WM Red Ultra version eventually.

But Wheelie...HELL.YES. I've had a secret desire for that show-accurate resin kit ever since I learned about it years ago and I'd love to add him to my Collection. I'll still wait for some more pictures if possible, but if the price isn't too bad (max. $70 for me, although I hope the price will be lower) I'm probably already sold.

Wow! I hope these will be widely available! I'm a HUGE fan of the Jizai-toys designs. So simple and appealing.

The orginal wheelie looks to be scout size he is up to the chest of cyclonus who is about the same size as a classic seeker. Perhaps this makes this version of wheelie deluxe. Also it seems from the teaser ic they have upscaled wheelie to be the same height of powerglide. If its bigger than that though you can count me out i will wait for the PE one that was teased ages ago.

My only real issues with these is the style. They look like they are made out of plastercine. They are way to rounded for me, more of an animated look and not CHUG enough.

I prefer the animated look. I love how the Jizaitoys originals captured the Floro Dery style. I hope they don't lose too much of the charm in translation.

I wish more actual classics were like this. Hound has a similar feel, and he's one of my favourite classics.
