Noticed it on the FT Terminus--some kind of lubricant seeping through the seams around the head area, and if you retract the head cannon and pull it back out, it's partly covered in it. Couple weeks later, still happening, leaving my fingers greasy from simple handling. Then read that someone had the same problem with Sovereign. Contacted Chosen Prime and...they couldn't/didn't do anything about it as they, I suppose, got the runaround from FT.

Hey, FT, these aren't that kind of toy. Let's keep them dry and action figures, eh?

It's the sort of thing that makes me not want to buy your stuff, much as I'd like to continue doing so.

Some of those joints need lube, the knees in mine have way too much it seems.
But then I had an epiphany, I wiped it off with some tissue. This is an extremely minor, well, I cant even call it an issue. Its not. Its a bit of excess lube.

And then got mad when no one would do anything.

Typical TF collector hyper criticism in action.

Lubricant sometimes is needed... Without it your figure is most probably going to get damaged... Do not underestimate friction!

First complaints about squeaky joints, now complaints about lubed joints. Can't win.

Taking it too far. No need to be gross and needlessly childish.

    Yup. :)

Or more specifically, when the thing leaks continually for weeks, so much so that each time you turn the head or adjust the cannon, you see it pooling out along the sides of the head...if you don't mind that sort of thing, cool beans.

Sarcasm duly noted. I wiped/cleaned off the fig multiple times over multiple days. I even--wait for it--unscrewed the head, but it doesn't come apart easily. The liquid's pooled somewhere inside, and I'm annoyed that I can't pry (don't want to risk breaking) the pieces apart to clean them out properly...hence the slow goopy release of doom. Hey, I thought the factory overdid it a tad, and maybe FT could be made aware of things like this, but apologies that I had an opinion. Won't happen again.

My post was a semi-bemused/amused/annoyed reaction to what I thought was a bit too much lube on a toy. Take it how you will.

Hey, I wasn't the one complaining about squeaky joints. I mean, I (gasp!) even like and have supported the company and its products.

Anywho...from the comments above, seems like the nerd-snark/anger/defensiveness is coming more from you guys than from me, especially the "what a typical nerdy Transformers fan" response to whatever opinion you don't agree with.

Do we know this for a fact, though? That without lube, the joints are going to explode? Even if that were the case, just seems like they completely filled the insides of my copy with the stuff.

    Carry on.

Maybe Omega is just sweating because of the sensual way you're handling him?
