Well here it is guys, my latest of all projects, I seen some figs on offer at my local ASDA here in Scotland and figured "hey, why the hell not"... Ever since I started this project (if you can call it that...) I have now grown a helluva lot more respect to everyone that tries to reshell... I've had nothing but total problems with this guy nothing serious, but it just keeps setting me back, and back... So here's a preview since I felt so kind.... Though be warned it's still abit rough and tell me what you think! C&C welcome :thumb

and of course it's still not finished!

Are you using a 1/32 "Snap-tite" model kit?

Looks pretty good man. On my workbench right now I'm looking into grafting some old 'vette grills just into the front pieces. I'm hoping that doing that, some trimming down of the existing toy, and some new paint will make tracks look better. But if that doesn't work, I may have to go your route.

Any pics of what the toy looks like all ground down but without the shell? those are always interesting.

    Randy!

Anything worth doing is never easy! But your certainly on the right path! Don't let it get to ya man, take a step back occasionally to re-group & it''ll get done by an by!

Great work so far, I got respect for ya...I still haven't worked up the nerve to do a re-shell yet!

You got a great start there. reshells can really kick your ass but the end result can be so gratifying. My only advice is keep transforming it. every time you do something, transform it back and forth. and don't fall in love with every mod you make. you might have to change it down the line when you tackle a different part. Keep at it!
