I shot Hasbro an email a few days ago asking a simple question. When will recon ravage's be sent? and this is what i got. kinda pisses me off. i asked a simple question and this is what i get. ~AAD
What do you expect? There's probably tons of people mailing in for Ravage all at once now that the NEST subline is out in full force and the Hasbro folks have a ton of paperwork to get through before they can even start sending out free figures. Last Hasbro mail away I participated in was the Captain Rex Clone Wars mail away, and it took a month or two after I'd sent my check for the figure to get sent, just be patient. The booklet puts the deadline at April 30th, so I'd expect May would be the earliest we hear about people receiving their's.
Note that it said "In the order they are recieved." There are a lot of people sending out for one, so don't be surprised at the response.
Yeah, they aren't very personal in that email. They could have given you a little more, but oh well. On another note, I'm so glad I hate that Ravage deco (and the mold to a degree).
Mail-away promotions take months to ship. Hasbro has done Star Wars mail-aways the last three years, and most are lucky if they get their item 5 months after the send in the money and UPCs. Patience is what you need to learn.
Promotions take a while. I remember a year or two ago with Hasbro releasing the GI Joe Doc figure as a mail away took a while. I didn't mind the delay as I ended up getting two figures
Wasn't it stated a long time ago that they would be sending them out around May 10-15? and also, no need to get pissed at hasbro when it comes to their customer service messages unless they send you a regular ravage instead of what was promised (crys over the place that use to be occupied by animated wreck-gar)
what did you expect? i'd say the best way to know is to check your bank account... once the check gets cleared, you know its probably on the way...
Since promotions are typically outsourced to a third party that specializes in such things, it's unlikely anyone at Hasbro would even be able to provide an update.
Would you like it to come giftwrapped in fine silk too, and come with a Hasbro employee to play with it for you? Patience, OP. The darn promotion is still ONGOING. Most promotions don't bother to start sending stuff out until a few weeks after the promo ends so they can get every order in, processed, boxed, and send out with a BULK shipping discount.
