I didnt like their IDW Prime either....so far i only like their throttlebots to be tbh
Its way too early to make any requests at all.....TT need to show a prototype or a render or something FIRST....hell they havent even showed neither prototypes nor renders of bumblebee and wheeljack.I'm not willing to spend 300$ for a white Prime with some add on parts....although i dont think that will be the final price,anything above 160$ for this concept is unacceptable in my opinion...u get a repaint from an existing figure and some parts that u put together?? That doesnt make sense to me

You're thinking of ToyWorld. This is KFC (Keith's Fantasy Club). the last project was the Mugan Scope, CHUG sized not-Perceptor

 

In my opinion, KFC should keep their design and release it. Unlike Acoustic-Wave or Shockwave, G1 UM design has more breathing room in term of attracting people. Breathing room in a sense that KFC UM is basing on the Titanium or the so call all-in-one transformation bot, some people love this. Also, price will probably be much cheaper than TTomy version. TTomy on the other hand if their concept still hold, is based on the armor version. If memory served correctly, someone did a poll regarding armor vs. titanium style and the armor version won not by much. Me although, I prefer the armor version anytime, I wouldn't mind owning a titanium style KFC UM.

As for IDW UM route, I very happy that Toyworld went with the IDW Don UM style. My three reasons: 1. He's still a car carrier, 2.Cool robot mode, 3.He got white leg just like the cartoon. Somehow, I was never a fan of UM red thigh like the comic. I forgive the G1 toy due to its limitation, lol.

Yup. I want what KFC's already shown as my "MP G1 Magnus". Period. Don't downsize it, and for sure don't make it comic-styled. (to get my money, at least). I'd probably accept a downsized version if I had to, but no way would I buy a "non-G1-looking" one.

If this project changes drastically or is cancelled, and the only option is Takara's---I'll greatly regret selling my Titanium version.

 

Masterpiece size, G1 Based and No White Optimus and I'm interested (Price Dependant). Anything else (Especially IDW Based) and I'm out

 

I'll be getting the g1 mp from takara like most people I assume so I'd much prefer KFC's in classics size and based off IDW magnus instead, that would make it more worthwhile I think.

Well, there wasn't an option for "leave the style as it is, make it classics sized" so I went for Make New Leader IDW style and Classic size.

That'd be the third option, as I read it. It already is G1, so "making it G1, classics sized" would only change the size.

 

Keep the CG render style and scale it down to Classics and I'll bite otherwise I'm not interested.

 

I want a good looking robot AND good looking trailer for a good price instead of the kidney Takara will charge for their more than probably compromised version. Mp size for me.

I can go down as much as having it be just a bit taller than MP-10 to still catch the classics niche. It already looks modernized enough. Main thing I see in the IDW version are the different shape of the shoulder towers and more white in the legs instead of red so I guess they could add those.

Just have it be big please.

 

Yes, there is. The current style is what I'm calling G1.

 

MP size, go! I prefer their take on Magnus compared to the white Optimus one.

 

I would be interested to know how many people would be for the project in it's current design, but classics-scaled, without being under the impression that a full IDW re-design is possible.

I only ask because I really don't think completely redesigning the figure is an option.

 

I'd buy this classics sized as is, or idw-ized.

Would have bought the masterpiece version but for the takara interception.
