Nice paint job, but the Optimus head doesn't really fit, IMO.

Were you also thinking of using a modified Soundwave head?

I think C has hit on something with the Prime head being so specific. However, I think if you mod it some, you can pull that particular head off. Keep us posted! :thumb

Well, it is hard to mask the prime head but I think it fits well enough. If you were to consider modding it though, try shaving the side fins to look like [or simply replacing them with] the Bumblebee horns.

Could use a visor too. Would the Grimlock head work with proper modding?

Yeah, that's what I'm referring to: a physical mod to the head. I'd recommend shaving (carefully) the faceplate along with your suggestion. The Grimmy head would be too big though I'd think.

I think grooves in the faceplate would help, maybe even a visor. As for the paint job I think it's top notch. Really good co-ordination

I never even thought about the grill lines in the face mask. I always figured they were on the original figure just to distinguish the mask from the visor and not have him look like Cobra Commander. I reckon with the eyes still present I just overlooked the lack of them here.

grooves would be easy to do, if you want them inset, use a blade... if you want them raise, then a simply straight strip of styrene will fix you up.
