First I've heard of Prime too!

I'd love to see those pics!

But 'tis a wiki, so probably just misinformation.

Too bad Hasbro never went through with their "Pick the exclusive" contest format release of Transtech 'Screamer

Hasbro stated at Botcon 08 (I believe) that the hard copy of Transtech Starscream was lost. They had planned to release it at the end of the Cybertron line, until it went missing.

MM is correct. The hardcopy was sent to Takara Tomy and never seen again.

When we saw pics of the hard copies of Starscream & Cheetor on some prototype forums, they mentioned the Prime one, but never posted the images :(

I so wish this line had made it to see the light of day,
I also remember seeing a guy on some site that was going through the TF process with the hardcopy and never finished doing so so I never seen the bot mode.

Why couldn't Transtec make it into Universe 3.0/4.0?
Under a subline like "The Lost"?

I saw the art for that Starscream and went nuts for it.
the Prime wasn't half bad either.

Honestly I think it would be a good venture if Hasbro went with this as a future line while the movie is hot and the kids are plastic crack addicted and we older fan/collectors already have the vein tied off waiting for a injection of that which never came to be.

It would be a nice lil bit from the norm of just movie animated and Universe/Classics.

Take the drawings and tweak the sculpt and make new sculpts for thos that didn't have hard copies with knowing what they know now about toys making and apply it. This all equals sells and profit......in theory. But that is probably where it would die off as far as Hasbro interest in it.
