Yes to Trypticon, but only if he sizes up well against Generations Metroplex. Plex needs his rival.

More than anything else. Every other city-bot (And OS) has had multiple big figures the past couple years. But nothing for Trypticon since '86.

how tall do you want him to be MP scale? 10 Feet? 20 Feet? 100 feet?

do you want him MP scale so MP 10 Prime or MP11 Starscream can play inside Trypticon?

Yes, if he scales well and aesthetically fit with Maketoy's Utopia and Pandius.

I don't care for MP scale on Citybots

Pretty much all that...which is why I'd rather just not see it come out;)

Realistically, I'd want it to be over 2' tall, closer to 3' which probably won't happen and cost a grip more if so.

100 feet might be starting to get close to the general ballpark of acceptable. Still rather small though.

Id say no. it would be cool to see. but I didn't even have the funds for Hasbro's Metroplex I know there's no way id be able to own a 3rd party version of this figure.

to those who could afford it cheers

The ghost of my late wallet demands a MakeToys Trypticon!

Utopia was a great representation of Metroplex.
Pandinus looks to be a great representation of Scorponok.
I can't guarantee that I'll buy one, but I'm eager to see what Maketoys' version of Trypticon looks like.

I imagine Maketoys has this in consideration for their citybot line, though likely only at the rough draft stage.

I've probably said it too often but I wouldn't buy a 3rd party Trypticon.

It would either be too small, in the case of Utopia. It just doesn't fit anywhere in my collection and while I'd love to mess around with it he wouldn't have a place to display.

Or he'd be too expensive. If he were made to the similar size as Hasbro Metroplex then he'd likely cost some where in the neighborhood of $600 AT MINIMUM. $1000 would be more likely. There is no way in the pit I'd pay that much but it'd be the figure that I would want.

WFC Trypticon would be great IMO. Though his alt mode would be hard to figure out.

    No.

-I wouldn't pay $300-$400 for it (looking at you utopia and genesis)

-I already have g1 trypticon so I would only buy it if it looked even more impressive in both city and dinosaur mode.

Give me Dai atlas or Overlord already.

I'd be in for it, but I'd have the requirement of a Nemesis mode per WFC. I can leave city mode

I really just want a giant spaceship dinosaur

I'd probably actually prefer a Hasbro one to go with Generations Metroplex. But I still voted yes as I've always wanted Trypticon and never had him, so it would be the most tempting of the city-formers to me.

I want WFC-style dino, but a "traditional" city. Best of both worlds. (since his "satellite cannon mode" isn't even really anything identifiable, and turning into the Nemesis is nothing short of "morphing magic" and nigh-impossible for a toy)
