    Example:
If Jetfire was bought new in '88 and never opened and stored for about 20 years in a closet/non smoking (75f) household. Is there any chance he would yellow?

I know about flea market crap, what to watch out for and the sun is to blame for most of it............ But I want to know about all types of yellowing that all of you have encountered. How to clean?

    Smoking, Sun, Piss............ Etc :ev:

You can clean tobacco yellowing off easily enough. I got some BW combiners that had been owned by a smoker and one was pretty yellowed. I washed it down with windex and rinsed it off, it was while as can be.

Are sun ridden transformers w/deep yellowing you find at flea markets, etc hopeless? Can this be remedied?

I don't know if my G1 Jetfire was sun yellowed or not. I took some nail files and a nail buffer and it got the white off pretty good.
