I've decided to try and see how long it will take to yellow a jetfire. If anyone has done this or knows please let me know. I have it sitting out in direct sunlight. I'll update when something happens.

Yeah, I've got one that has some yellowing and I want to do a custom. So, I want him all yellow and well, so the experiment begins. I've had it in sunlight for amost a week. I know this will take some time but like I said, I've got a lot of jetfires.

You've just got so many G1 Jetfires that you can just leave one out to purposely yellow it? That is like someone having so much money they just set fire to it to see what will happen. POOR PEOPLE LIKE ME WANT THOSE MONIES....JETFIRES!:)

put it under a bare-bulb desk lamp. it works faster than the sun.

I actually yellowed my blue wall with a desk lamp in just a week (completely by accident)

Think about it, who wants a partially yellowed jetfire. I can get them for about $10 in this condition. I've got four of them in various conditions. I took the worst parts and am trying to make a uniform yellow out of them. When I get done you will understand.

*doesn't believe someone actually wants to yellow a G1 Jetfire and, as such, backs out of the thread slowly*

I'd be willing to bet we've got ourselves a home scientist that wants to get to the bottom of the yellowing phenomenon. am I right?

if I am, let me just mention that there was a thread a couple of months ago revolving around the super nes and what caused some to yellow and some not.

Are you saying it took about a week? Because I've had it out in the sun for about 5 days and nothing.
