Man, I already have Yellow and Blue Ramble's, so I don't need the Yellow Scrapmetal. Will pick up Brakedown GTS, though I am hoping for more Speed Planet Decepticons, shelf looks too one sided.



Now how about news of a Cobybot, ok Hasbro.

 

The Brakedown mold doesn't interest me, let alone in a dubious paint scheme/homage.

As for Scrapmetal, I reallyreally wanted the blue one to go with the red. If I could have gotten GF blue Ramble to go with Cyb. red Scraps, the yellow one could have just passed into history.

I dunno about the odds of a blue one though. I mean, they repaint everything so I never really believed that line about not getting the yellow/blue, instead getting a different one entirely. Now we've seen any number of deluxes repainted a second time (third overall), if not more. But..I can't recall any basics that got a second repaint in the last few lines.

I like the Kup homage on Brakedown but I think another homage can also be claimed. The G2 Breakdown was a similar blue.

 

Already have the yellow one (and the blue one, for that matter) in Takara form, so I'll pass. If I'd known this was coming I might not have bothered, but it's not a big deal. One of each color makes three and that's enough troop building for me.

 

your's will still be more valuable too if ya still have yer cardback... I got all 4 from GF, and scrappy, made a purple one, and I wanna make a green one, then that'll be it, I just want a unique set, not duplicates

 

It's beginning to feel more and more like we're shaping up for the bizarro version of the time of Armada/Energon and Universe. This time the line limited to two sizes of classic characters will be new molds, and the mainline gets to be all repaints.

 

GTS: G1 Transformers Soon.

It denotes that the line will be padded out with repaints for the remainder of it's lifespan.


Both a pass for me. Already have a Yellow Ramble, and haven't even bothered to open the original Brakedown.

Not to sure on Breakdown, looks like he has too many colours.

In any case, I'm betting that Breakdown is going to get remolded as Rhinox to go with the rest of of the Axalon Maximals.

Not to fussy about the Scrapmetal repaint, since I already have all 3 of the GF ones.
Though I thought Hasbro said they were doing a different repaint to the Japanese ones??

 

Now this is what I like to see; the Brakedown mold has always impressed me and was leaps above Clocker in my book, this repaint I'll definately get... Provided I find a new job soon and start earning $ again.

Scrapmetal... Well I still need the red one, but the yellow one I can see myself buying too because hey; Scrapmetal is a drone army, and an army of one is just no fun.


So for this I say,   Hasbro and thanks; although I think I'll come up with an original name rather then call him Brakedown GTS OR Kup, I mean... Originality is my hallmark; plus I don't really care if it's an homage or not doesn't mean you have to use the G1 character's name that inspired the paint job.

Hmmm; if I missed a Scout Class figure I can't recall, looks like so far Decepticons/Decepticon Affiliated Mini-Cons outnumber the Autobots/Autobot Affiliated Mini-Cons in this size-class by one... Guess that means if they repaint Scattorshot or Armorhide he'll be an Autobot... Personally I'd prefer more Decepticons for a change; and I really hope we see a scout class Jungle Planet Mini-Con Team before the lines' end because I want some Decepticon oriented Beastie Mini-Cons.  

 

Ditto! Kup will join Cybertron! Yay for Scouts! 

 

Now it they could make that blue Scarpmetal and Coby's, I'd be one happy camper.

Does anyone remember the list of rumored Cybertron repaints that came from Insidepulset (sp) that came out awhile ago? So far its been dead-on. From what I recall there were a few figures left on that list that have yet to be shown. I know Landmine and Armorhide were on there for sure but weren't slated till October. I have the list written down at home but I'm sure its here in the archives somewhere.

While I'm liking the Kup-inspired colors (that was exactly what sprung to mind when I saw it), I don't like the mold enough to want another one.

The scrapmetal I may get though.
