All the hate mail probably made the hasbro execs hide under their beds until they thought to just give us the repaints we wanted of these.

 

We have the same taste and expectations for repaints then, because that's exactly what I was hoping for in regards to Demolishor...

I'm sure we'll get a Dirt Boss repaint eventually. I just hope it's up to par with the other cool repaints, especially the speed planet ones (Ransack GTS, Dark Crumplezone, Excellion, Swerve and now Brakedown GTS!)

 

Not especially excited about Brakedown. Funny as hell about Ramble though. I guess I'll finally grab a red one so I can have 2 of each color when they do a blue one.

They better do the blue one.

 

The Kup homage is very nice, even though I'm not going to be picking it up. Scrapmetal on the other hand is a must buy for me  

 

I'd have preferred the blue Scrapmetal, but yay! Cybertron Kup!  

 

I'm so hoping they do the blue one before this line ends.

 

Brakedown GTS... no new character, no buy for me.

Scrapmetal, though, I can forgive. I actually prefer having two of each Terrorcon on my shelf as particular characters...

I'll likely call the red one Rumble and Yellow one Scrapmetal. If they do a blue one over here, Frenzy it is.

Oh, and there's Scorponok.... I haven't decided whether or not to make Dark Scorponok a separate character or not..

They probably changed their minds when people were going nuts over trying to get them from Japan.

 

Brakedown GTS, huh? Guess the old guy went in for a full make-over after what he's been through. A paint peel, armor lift, and engine tuck and voila! It's a whole new you!

The colors look good on the bot mode, but not so much for the vehicle mode. I'll personally be passing on this one since I regretted getting the original Brakedown after I opened it up. The mold just had too many faults for me. Since the mold is the problem, it would take a truly miraculous color scheme for me to want to buy it. This is good, not miraculous.

As to the Scrapmetal recolor, I would have preferred that they would have given us the blue one first. Just in case they don't get the chance to get the 3rd color out for this mold. I'm still going to be damn sure to get the yellow, though. They could put out a rainbow of recolors for this mold and I'd still buy every one. It's not only a good mold, but the backstory for it lends itself to that sort of thing.

More Scrapmetal, please, I'm building!

 

I don't like the Brakedown repaint. Oh well. Maybe it'll look cooler to me in person.

 

This is a repaint I'll actually bite on. Three reasons:

1) Appeared in Galaxy Force.
2) Good looking, insectoid deco.
3) Crumplezone is getting a little arrogant on my shelf, pushing Clocker and Brakedown around, and another Scrapmetal will take his attitude down a peg.

 

I'm getting the yellow scrapmetal...I have no issues with repaints in the basic tange...they are only $7....plus I like him

 

meh. I am not going to bite. Just four more figures to close out the Cybertron series and those two repaints don't fit the bill on my want list.

 

Man, I was so going to end Cybertron with Menasor, Quickmix, the Giant Planet Minicons, Unicron and Primus...but those two are pretty damn tempting...1) They're chap(er) Basics, 2) I like the Scrapmetal mold and 3) I really dig that obvious Kup homage for Brakedown...hmmmm I'll have to think this over for awhile...

Despite the current dogma surrounding the yellow paint scheme on him it actually fits him extremely well. Ya the blue is cool and would be great if Hasbro did him too as the blue Ramble is just so darn rare but the yellow is a lot better then many think.

 

Cool I like that Brakedown repaint... and as for the GTS thing it sure beats Getting a Cybertron Cybertron Brakedown... (looks glaringly at Energon Energon Hot Shot and the rest)

 

It's nice to see the different forms of the Scrapmetal mould come up! Hopefully 'Frenzy' will show up soon! As for the Brakedown GTS mould, they shoulda named him Kup in honour of the old timer himself!

By the way... what does the GTS stand for anyways?
