    well if you want a tip have a look at someone's that you like, don't be shy with your shading either, make your lights lighter and darks darker! have a look at josh's megatron in my sig, shading goes all the way from dark blue to white

    This is a great start but I want to echo the sentiment about pushing your shading work further. Contrast is your friend. ;)

    Yeah like people are saying get into the shading.

    Also begin to utilize the lasso tool in PS as well as holding shift between brush strokes for straight lines.

    Elaborate on that because I've only ever gotten it to go from up, down or side to side with the shift key.


    Appreciate the tips. They helped out alot.

    Click where you want the edge of the line to start, press and hold ctrl and then click where you want the line to end :)

    just adjust the sliders to make the brushstroke harder or softer, that's all you'll ever need

    take the shading further too. look at something that is blue or red and brightly lit, maybe even metallic too - do you have any cars like that in the street? the highltights will be white and low-lights / reflections almost down to black
