    You're probably going to be holding out for a while there. They haven't even gotten this out of the lab yet to actually get to work on production for samples.

    This is awesome.

    Besides laptops, battery weight and duration has been a major issue with implementing many ideas of the Land Warrior program and its planned successors.

    A battery like this would make a lot of those concepts possible by making them man-portable with sufficient charge time.

    I'm looking forward to active camoflague.

    This is terrific news. Batteries are a major part of automobiles, too, so batteries that can hold a charge longer has to be good news for hybrid / electric vehicles.
