Love the idea of non transforming figures to complement our collections.

But as more of a comic guy than toon in the '80's, I'd rather have Robot Buster, Centurian or Death's Head over this.

While I love that idea in theory, in practice, the differing scales between some of his parts may prove problematic.
    From TFWiki:
Among the recognizable components in his body are:
    • Prowl's forehead crest and right chest/front bumper
    • Bluestreak's left door
    • Sunstreaker's left shoulder
    • Hound's shoulder-mounted missile launcher and right fender/shoulder
    • Trailbreaker's arm cannon, left chest, and left thigh
    • Optimus Prime's left wrist and parts of the right leg
    • Jazz's photon rifle, mounted on his right arm
    • the back of Jazz's left leg
    • Jazz's crotch
Trailbreaker and Prime are the two biggest discrepancies here. Trying to match TB and Prowls chest parts could be tricky.

The other big downside is that XTB have only actually designed one of those characters so that's a LONG wait till they can do Autobot X

Perhaps, this is the vanguard for a series of one-off episode, non-transforming characters.
Next will be a six foot tall figure of the alien boy, Aron, from the episode, "Child's Play". o_O

I really need all of these figures to get the modern 3P MP treatment...

Come on 3Ps, these guys are army builders, shut up and take our money!

Jazz's crotch would definitely cause scale issues with the other Transformers.

    Huehuehue...

I wouldn’t want this to transform as I can’t see any viable alt mode. However, it would be nice to see a proper MP scaled Spike included with this with good articulation.

I wouldn't count on that company going through with that character design any time soon, if at all. Frankly, it would be best for XTB to pick up the design, given their willingness for Autobot Spike. Maybe other non-transforming characters from the series will be done by XTB, who seem to be the only ones willing and capable of going through on this concept. It should be easy enough to do, given the absence of any complicated engineering as their other labors of love.

It’s kind of surprising given Ex-Factory had finished test shots out with reviewers. The amount they would have sunk in design, testing and moulding & forming is not insignificant. If they ran out of money and couldn’t go through with production, you’d think someone would buy those designs and the moulds off them.

Maybe one of those companies can also do an MP style Alpha Trion with both young and old faces included. Alpha Trion seems to be a non transforming character.

This is the Hova model. It got bought out and it makes a hell of a lot of sense for XTB to do it now and sell as they could sell many for army building. Now that I will have the fembots, Quintessons, Guardian Sentinel, etc and the Cybertron Primus I have the ability for a Cybertron set with Shockwave with a full army there. Still wondering what happened to the Punch/Counterpunch prototype and the IGear Runabout/Runamuck designs.

Because he is made of Transformium! Seriously, there appears to be hinges and panels that move on him. I am hoping he changes into this:

You want it to turn into a cheesy remake/prequal to a classic film? ;)

The Thing (2011). It's a prequal to the classic John Carpenter's The Thing (1982).
