we prolly should talk about this in my own thread instead so we dont hijack the current discussion (i will bump the other thread with new pics), but short answer is: no, the pieces are too big and the cost of it being done on shapeways is way too cost-prohibitive

for those who have an issue with the unstable backpack for the vindicator version, i will try to create a brace that will hold the backpack together, got a concept done already, hopefully it works as planned

 

this thing is awesome, but i am going to have to part with mine, jut too much good stuff this year. Any takers, PM me please

 

Does anyone that has this armor have the Blue KO Classics Prime?

I am really curious what they look like together. D:

 

I recall someone else asking about this and did some research in to that mold and from what I gather it is one of the rarest KO"s of it their was/is. So goodluck finding someone with it who also happens to have a decent camera  

I think bright blue would clash horribly with super dark black personally. I think the only kind of non-black prime that could work with Vindicator is a darker red one or a teal/green one.

What's wrong with yours? I had the loose cannon pods too but after I using a bit of floor polish they were solid and didn't pop apart anymore.

Umm while the shape and detailing of the pods are the same I think your bitterness is getting the better of your judgement.... FPs missile pods are just chunks of plastic with missile shaped nubs at the front and pegs on the sides. They have no playability/functionality other than to complete the look of UM.

These cannon pods have extending barrels, and the pegs swivel so they can be side mounted or top mounted. I mean you have every right to be disappointed about your purchase but give credit where it's due man. Accusing them of stealing isn't being very fair.

 

Have you tried contacting Xovergen? You might want to send that pic over to them. I'm sure they'll help out.

 

My mini twin gun thingies were loose as well, I just put some simple glue in mine though and they were fine, didn't think it was worth mentioning due to being such an easy fix. Had no other issues with my xov aside from the loose toes which I'll get around to tightening with some finish or glue or something eventually.

 

i broke my wrist ball joint a few months back (totally my fault, mind you), and had a manufacturing defect with the peg on the big shoulder cannons

i emailed them with the photos, they ask for my mailing address, and it arrived at my place free of charge (though it took some time)

so ya, email them as i have gotten replacement parts myself; just dont forget to ask nicely  

 

Yes, make sure you ask nicely... Some folks are too demanding and it leaves a sour taste...

Have you not compared the two? Sure, one's got a new feature, but look at the body. They have the exact shape, and notches as the FP launchers. They even have the slit from FP launchers, which serve no purpose on Xover, but were used to hold the missiles on the first releases of City Commander.

Also yeah, I can fix and contact Xovergen no problem, butthe fact that I pay nearly 200$ and get defective, hollow, nonfitting product isn't acceptable. If I had gotten something more polished, maybe I'd gloat and try to justify my purchase.

 

Honestly this is why I only purchase stuff like this from US sellers. Because if you have a problem then they can sort out the issues with the manufacture 9 times out of 10, and if not, usually offer a return policy for defective items and since they are based in the US the return shipping is reasonable.
