    Hello all!

This will be my first pictorial review. So pardon the nature of it.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Xovergen TF-01 Trailerforce set.

As a HUGE Powermaster Prime fan, this made me giddy as a school girl.

I'll go over the figure and hopefully you'll be able to make an informed decision on whether or not you need this guy on your shelves.

    Lets see some pics!!

First off is the Head Sculpt. I love the look of this head, I was a bit hesitant about it at first, but after having it in hand I fell in love with it.

Lets see some vehicle mode pics!

I tried to take as many pics as I could to really give you guys an idea of what the various primes look like with this set.

    Henkei

    Nemesis (wonderfest)

A custom I made just for this set using Classics Prime with a Henkei chrome grill :)

My opinion on the vehicle mode is about the same as the vehicle mode for G1 Powermaster Prime... Eh. It's cool that the function is there, but it doesn't mean much to me.

I know for some it is very important, so I hope these pics help ;)

Now for some Bot Mode pics! Same deal, tried to take a good number of pics so you'd get a good idea what you're looking at.

The way I like to display it, with wheels folded in on the legs, my custom Prime, and G1 Takara Powermaster Prime Reissue cannons

A little action pose for ya!

I'll add some more pics and my thoughts on the toy over all in the next post....

So what do I think of this Toy?

As a Powermaster Prime NUT, this was a must have for me from day 1. Having it in hand has not diminished that excitement one bit.

    I will say the following:
    1. Transformation is a bit simplistic, as was the G1 version.

    2. Paint apps could be better, but that could very possibly just be the copy I got. Not that the paint is bad, just that it could have been a little cleaner.

    3. The plastic quality is fantastic! Nice thick margins, good heavy feel. Just all around well engineered.

    4. The proportions in pictures do not do this guy justice. In person he is massive and VERY well proportioned. The legs fit the body very well. None of the "skinny legs" I have read complaints about.

    5. As almost every joint (minus hips and waist) are pinned, I don't see them wearing out over time as "clicking" joint can.

    6. The Blacked out section inside the trailer were unnecessary, but a welcome addition.

    7. The price is a huge factor to most. I will simply say, this is essentially a leader to supreme class figure made by a third party company. The price is a reflection of the small production and huge size.

    8. The hands are almost identical (as far as function) to MP-01.

Having it in hand would I still buy it? Yes! I feel it's a fantastic update to one of my favorite toys.

I hope this helps some of you on the fence to make a decision one way or the other.

I thought this was supposed to come with a Hi-Q for Classics Prime. Did they ditch that, or will it be released separately?

    I'm thinking ditched for now.

If I remember right the parts to add on to the classics prime mold were pretty complex.

The more I see this makes me want it even more!

It truly has grown on me and now I'm considering buying 2 to display as PM and PM w/ their future Godbomber set.

Bring on the black repaint! :rock

I'll get laughed out of the room for saying this, but I prefer the Takara reissue of G1 PM Prime. It's a brick, but it's a damn beautiful brick. All it really needs is 3rd party arms with elbow articulation and it would be amazing.

How are the ball jointed wrists and shoulders holding up? Do they feel prone to looseness?

This is also my biggest concern. I know ball joints are fixable, but on something this expensive, that should be something that only happens only after a significant amount of play.

When I first got mine I spent a few hours rotating and spinning stuff. They feel sturdy enough. And the fact is the arms are not that heavy. The wrists are nice and snug too.
