As much as I do like this I don't $150+ like it, especially with everything else coming out this month. Plus the potential QC problems.

 

More then likely my order will be canceled. They had the shipping wrong. Shipping was $12 and now it's $25. That's because he had the weight at 1.9lbs before and now it's 4lbs.

So if my order is canceled, I'm out. The new price is $170 shipped.

Shipping to the us from rk is $42. So that makes it more expensive still.

 

I wish someone would make a Powermaster Prime, but instead these guys made God Ginrai.

There is a difference.

PM Prime doesn't have those blue bits on his arms.

I haven't watched masterforce, so I don't know what God Ginrai's proportions were like on the show, but PM Prime's legs were short and stocky (i.e. FAT).

There are other things about this that piss me off: the ugly vehicle mode, the partsforming, the bits from Cybertron OP & R.I.D. Magnus stuck on there , the ugly chrome...

Hasbro's reissue Power Master Optimus came with Apex Bomber. So it does have those. Though I do think they should have just made the Apex Armor instead of only using that one part of the design.

Super Ginrai has bulky legs, too. They just aren't as bulky as the actual toy. They're still more than this, though.

Not really sure why they didn't add gray trailer panels to it. They could have easily pulled that off without hindering articulation.

 

Can anyone verify if this set will still come with LED lighting for the head and guns? I read somewhere that they were removed from the final product...
