$150 doesn't sound so bad, if their last product wasn't Grand Patriot.

They need to build their rep before commanding that price. I am not saying it's completely not worth it, BUT I am saying that with their rep many people are going to be hesitant dropping 150$ since the last time, 90$ was the biggest waste of space that is grand patriot (next to Sonicron )

Yes. You're right. But that was after CC had developed hype and reputation as a must have item. Considering how their last release went I think Xovergen is being too aggressive here. With higher price come higher expectations.

I don't see how can you justify the $130-$150 price range? maybe if it was complete. Powermaster it is not. pay $150 for this and then they will release the powermaster and bumper as an "add-on"?? at least Cyclops is a complete figure.

You guys are kind of glossing over the fact that this is the single largest thing a 3rd party company has ever released. 3rd party products usually seem marked up compared to official ones, but hell, I think Takara would charge even more for this than Xovergen is.

Edit: Well, unless you count combiners as one thing, cause it looks like it's about the same size as Hercules.

Are you saying that HoS Shockwave is smaller than this? Or like, combiners that were released?

edit:: saw your edit response. HoS Shockwave is my answer then. OH, and the 6-shot.

Oh, and Cyclops is less expensive, and from a more reputable 3p company that have PROVEN themselves.

Bottom line... Price will be $150 dont like it dont buy. People have bought worse crap than this (i.e. vector zeta or whatever it was called) and it looked worse and was more expensive and it didnt even come out. Personally im buying, i love trailerformers and ive spent more on figures with terrible qc issues from an established company... cough, MP-9, cough

    @exomega

I think you need to recheck your facts on that one, because Cyclops is a couple inches smaller than this and costs 10 dollars more. But it's a much more intricate, complete figure, so I think that's reasonable. I also think their Sixshot is smaller than this, but I'm not positive.

And I'm not even saying I'm comfortable enough to preorder it, I'm just saying that $150 sounds like a good price, and if it turns out to not suck, I'll totally buy it for that.

oops, my bad on the cyclops, but cyclops is also not an "add-on", it's stand alone. But the fact reminds that Cyclops came from MMS, a company that delivered. (though their first gen KMC had flaws they quickly fixed it)

I guess, I don't mind the price, but NOT when its this 3P company.

edit:: are you sure about Cyclops being a couple of inches shorter? So this thing is 12" and up? Sorry I wasn't paying attention to this one as much.

For me, this is a "wait and see review first" type of product.

    I love this post.

One thing I do like about this toy is that it's pretty much 100% ball-jointed. Meaning, any loose parts can just be futured or nail polished and fixed immediately.

If you look in the gallery linked in the first page of the thread, it looks to be slightly less than twice the height of Henkei Prime. Henkei Prime is a little under 7 inches, so this is probably close to 13 inches tall.

I see. Bottom-line for me is, I need to see review before committing on this one, unlike FP and other 3P that's a "brought on sight" for me.

Pricey, but I've been hankering for this thing too long to back out now.
Atleast if it turns out good, I'll like it more than if I knew it would turn out good; if that makes any sense...

I would not mind paying 150 for this, but I do want to see a review first because of grand patriot.

I would like the price more if it came with their version of Classics Prime. If he's sold separately I think it's safe to assume he will be around the $80 to $100 price. That might be a bit much. But damn does it look awesome.

Still not fond of the proportions. It just looks too skinny to be Power Master Prime or Super Ginrai. The God Ginrai arms are still not working for me without the entire armor. I still don't understand why they did that.
