Of all the third parties you'd want to tackle either of these, Xovergen would probably be the last. Hope they've sourced out some better plastic than they used for Grand Patriot, and it looks better than their PM Prime upgrade.

they state that they will be doing a g1 homage to both fort Max and scorponok and fort Max is to have 3 assist robots. nothing else aside from 3 sketches. looked interesting.

Very interested. I will be keeping an eye on Xovergin. They have done a remarkable job evolving their mold skills. I'm very intrigued to see how these turn out.

 

Haha, that's not concept art, that's a picture of Fort Max. To me, concept art should show something about how they're tackling the project unless it's an all-new piece.

Well, best of luck to them, but as someone who supporting their Grand Patriot project and bought it on release, they have a lot of work to do to make me a believer.

 

Totally, agree. Those are just doodles. They mean squat until they show actual progress. And these guys need to get a good quality product out before hyping anything new. Their first release tanked big time. The second project vanished with out an actual update (WFC upgrade set), and the PM Prime armor isn't looking better than the Grand Patriot. Along with the possible KO of the Classics Prime mold, that might hurt them even more, as some of the retailers might not even carry it.

 

Its good to see them picking actual characters that would be wanted and so far haven't had 3rd part reincarnations yet. By your comment alone this sounds like news to you. I figured maybe they were further a long and just teasing us but I was way wrong lol.

 

consider me interested, i want a new fort max, but their track record is not the best, so i will keep an eye on it before commiting

 

It would be nice to get updated versions of both figures, especially something more accurate than the TFCon exclusive from last year. But like has been brought up, this group has yet to impress.

 

I wonder if it will be as big as the original.

I want reprolabels to make a upgrade sticker set for fort max like they did with metroplex and Trypticon

 

As with the Powermaster Trailer thing they claim to be working on, I'll reserve judgement or interest until someone actually has it in hand.

 

Have these guys completed any projects? I also fear a $1000 price tag.

 

These are the guys that made that horrid Grand Patriot thing a while ago.

 

I mourned for everyone who bought that thing. It was floptastic. I'm gonna give these guys a benefit of the doubt though. They are sticking to this and don't seem to want to stop at the first mistake. If their willing to put that kind of effort into this than I'm willing to listen. This has the potential to be pretty cool but I'm still not sure if they can pull these off.
