Hi everybody! So, this is my first post here with anything that I have been working on. This will just be a teaser sort of deal, and as I progress, I will keep this thread updated. An Alien TF, I'm not sure if anyone has done that yet!? Sooooo, anyways, the main body is BM Cheetor, with BW Injector's head( I think that it's a perfect match for this project!!). There is a spare BW Rampage crab leg inside Injectors head. The leg ball joint was cut off and screwed onto BMC's underbelly/back plate. As well a spare BW Transmetal Tarantulus' was sacrificed for 4 spider legs and accompanying ball sockets to make those weird back tubes. This is just getting started, and I plan to use a buttload of putty to get the Giger look. The tail is going to be the biggest pain as I think I may have to do every segment out of some kind of super light weight modelling clay,
( any suggestions? ) as I'm using a long twist tie as the core to keep it flexible. So, let me know what you think... hopefully this will light a fire under my ass, and I will get some good work done here! Thanks for looking![IMG]

Great! I reckon you should use the tip of TFTM Premium Prime's sword tip for the back of the tail

Okay the easiest way Would be craft 1 segment, then mold & recast it, even if your thinning it down every few segments, you could model say 3 segments then recast each several times. would beat scuplting every bit.

That's gonna be so awesome when it comes together! I always thought BM Cheetor was xenomorph-esque. :p  Ever thought about using ROTF Ravage's tail for this? He's pretty Giger-y, it'd probably work. Great job so far!

There's a great in-depth tutorial about doing an articulated ravage tail here:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/tutorials-how-tos/256843-rotf-ravage-fully-articulated-tail-tutorial.html

I like it so far, I'm definitely psyched about seeing a nice transforming Alien.
