I'm virtually never on Xbox Live, but I have Halo 2 pre-ordered, and my gamertag is in my sig...

 

If I get an X-Box then I'm in. It all depens on when I finnish my current DVD series'.

Then it is only a small time until we can play halo online. Plenty of time for some practice.

I've never been in a clan before so this might apply to every game with clan support, but I just read that Halo 2 will only allow a player to be in one clan and one clan only.

 

well thats fine by me. thats why I posted this here so I don't have to clan up with a bunch of asshats.

 

Let's do this guys... for real! If we're all on our game we can be a strong clan. I've seen some guys out there that are just out of this world deadly, but who's to say we can't be the same?

 

Yea I've played against people who were just plain deadly on the original Halo multiplayer. I think they spend more hours playing the game to get that good than I would care to devote to a videogame.


By the way, what are everyone's favorite multiplayer modes?
To me it really doesn't get any better than capture the flag. You have to be good at the game to win the gunfights, but you also have to have good strategy to win the game.

 

Agreed! I used to be able to school anyone that I ever had the chance to play face to face, but once I got online, and got my ass handed to me repeatedly, I'd sit there scratching my head wondering how that hell it'd happen. I guess guys must've spent hours and hours just perfecting their craft, then again some people just have the amazing ability of picking up a game and being sick at it within minutes. At any rate, I'm anxious to see what a good group of us can accomplish.

I don't own Halo 1, so if I do play online I'll probably be pretty weak...for a time at least.
